Ask Anything You Want about TRT Thread........

it went from 48 to 56.8 in 6 weeks taking 160 test a week & 500 hcg twice a week and my test is still lower than the doctor wants it but reduced my test to 100 a week due to the hemocrit. I donated blood on week 2 and after the results of this blood test. My starting test was 138 on the second test it was 560 his goal was 750 on the 6th day after injection.

I took testim gel 10 years ago my starting level was 280 they took me off due to unable to control hemocrit and hemoglobin. my levels fell to 120 so I have been low for many years I am afraid I will have to go back off if something can't be figured out

You doctor can write you a script to donate blood more frequently than the normally allowed 10 weeks. Ask for that.

When I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I saw my hematocrit increase -- not anywhere near what yours did though. But when I switched to injections every 3.5 days instead of every 7 I noticed that my hematocrit leveled off -- even if I took higher doses. I don't know if the splitting of the doses helped or if my body just started to get used to having Testosterone around again. Hopefully your hematocrit gets back to normal. If not, consider entering the Tour de France. :-)

Mine went up from already high at first now its much lower. Doctor had me start with flax oil and a baby asprin and I have lost 20 pounds which could be the reason. Overall my health has improved quite a bit my cholesterol has gone down, blood sugar is now stable, my igf went from 123 to 220 my triglycerides went fom 236 to 86. Doctor also was very happy to see a reduction in white blood cells

what all can be done for high hemocrit and high hemoglobin? I know giving blood but is there anything else? Will going to twice week injections instead of one do anything?

I've read that dehydration can make those read high, so therefore we should be well hydrated before getting tested if that's true....

i just wanted to know if you ever heard test600 and if so is it good for me

:squint:
I wanted to start a thread for all those people reading that have questions but may be too intimated to post thinking there questions are dumb or someone will make fun of it. So basically this is a no flaming thread.

Please make sure ALL questions are related to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and not cycling and try to keep them short and sweet :D

I am not saying not to write it out, but lets try and keep it to 1 question per post, if you have multiple questions start with the most important and as we get them answered then feel free to make another post about your next question.

Fire away................:uzi:

I'm looking to get started with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I wanted to know if there was a way to tank my test levels before the blood work? I'm currently taking store bought test boosters. I know stop taking those. But what else can I do?

Run a cycle and then stop.......

Are you talking about a full cycle with AI's and PCT? How long after last pin should I get blood work done?

You could check the level with your own lab like six weeks after you end the cycle and see if it's where you want it. Probably wouldn't want or need a PCT since you want to start TRT.

Sometimes the test boosters screw up a guy's HPTA enough that after quitting them awhile your level could be low.

Thanks. Just to be clear. How much test/week how long of a cycle, without AI's and then no PTC?

LOL, they don't like this topic in the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum...go to the the AAS section or PCT section and tell them you don't want to restart but want to shut down

it is forbidden to have such talk here yo ;)

Oh, I see the problem...The DET Oak named this thread the ASK anything thread when he should have named it the:

ASK ANYTHING EXCEPT ABOUT AAS OR PCT OR ............

It probably seemed like entrapment :Pat:

I got it now thanks.

Smaller more frequent doses may help. It seems to have helped me. And you will need to donate blood regularly. That absolutely helps and it is good for society.

How high is you hematocrit?

I went to donate blood once and was stupid enough to tell them that im on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). So they started asking so many questions that after 15 minutes of interrogation i left without giving my blood. Anyone else had similar experience?

I have told them I was on doctor prescribed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and I was able to donate. I have not told them as well. The latter is a little easier. In the endyou juat need to answer yes or no to their questions. As far as I know, they don't keep records of your answers so you should be able to go back again and not get quizzed.

Hey guys, I am a college baseball player to be, and I have been training pretty hard for a few months. Before that, through out highschool I was familiar with the weight room, but never got into supplements until now. I am 5'9 160lbs. And need something to get my weight and strength up. I have researched quite a bit and I've narrowed it down to a T-booster, but as a first time user, I'm not sure what to take as far as brand and dosage. And if possible avoid needles. Any suggestion? Much appreciated

Not a good idea at your age. You risk shutting down your natural testosterone production and getting gynecomastia (man boobs). You should be able to grow plenty at your age by working hard and effectively in the weight room along with a good diet. Work with a nutritionist to establish a diet that will put weight on you.

If you are really worried that you have low testosterone get a blood test done to see where you are at.
