Ask Anything You Want about TRT Thread........

Hey guys just became a member of this website today and wasn't sure how to start my own thread so I just jumped on this one. Not sure if anyone will reply since there is 15 pages of comments on here but I'll give it a try anyways. For starters I am 22 years old, and I'm 6 foot 2, 285 pounds. I did a prohormone cycle this offseason of Dieselbolan v2.0 and threw on 20 solid pounds and actually hit 3 bills for the first time ever. My maxs sky rocketed (for me) and was able to squat 450 X 8, bench 405 X 5, clean 290 X 5. (Pry could have done more.) This past spring however I suffered an injury which has been a major setback, and am now rehabbing and getting ready to hit the weights again. I was going to just do another prohormone cycle. but decided I wanted to step it up this offseason due to the fact my training time will be limited because of my injury. I want to put on as much strength and mass as possible, without losing to much mobility in a short period of time. (dont we all lol.) This will be my first aas cycle and although I try to study up on what I put in my body, I am definitaly a rookie and certainly could use some help. Although I have friends who will be helping me out through this cycle, any opinions or help from you guys would be much appreciated. I really can't decide what I want to do for my cycle, as I can't decide if I should run tren and test enanthate for 10-12 weeks (pry1 cc a week each) with nolvadex as my pct, or if I should just do test enanthate at 500-600 mgs. a week. I also could get my hands on some Test 500 and some deca also pct'd with nolvadex. I thought about also getting some forma stanzol for on cycle and post cycle therapy (pct). Everything I have read up on tren is that the shit is amazing and you can see some incredible results in a short period of time, but it can also be very hard on your body, inluding your cardiovascular health.I realize I'm no expert on this topic, and don't pretend to be. I don't need any negative feedback, but any help or information would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Since this is your first time stick to 300-500mg of Test for 12 weeks followed up with some post cycle therapy (pct). Simple is the key.

Hey guys, just joined and im new to all of this stuff so im sorry if im seem highly uneducated. I am 25 year old male living in Toronto and just havent felt right for a long long time now. I have felt very lethargic and tired all the time, even after a full nights rest, I have low to zero sex drive and just feel very unenthusiastic about life in general. I finally went to my doctor and we ran a blood test for my test levels among other things although it was not a full panel. My levels came back substantially deficient for a 25 year old. Total test-9.3 nmol/L and Free test-8.1 nmol/L. Like I said im not highly educated on this but I did do some research and this seems very low for a guy my age. Long story short my doctor put me on Test E 200mg injections once monthly with no thought too E2 levels nor any Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) regimen ( I thought this was standard protocol ). I feel good for the week after the shot but feel very low again the last 2 weeks of the month. Is this normal? My doc says we will never be doing anything but this dose and only once a month ever. Wondering what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Get a second opinion if you can. 200mg a month sucks. Even 50 a week is better then 200 a month. He should have spoken to you about a retest after a few weeks. If not that is not good. Is this a general MD or a specialist? Speak honestly about you still feeling like crap and maybe you need the shots a little then once a month. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and Estrogen are sometimes watched and sometimes not. Hence the 2nd opinion if all the options don't line up for what is best for you.

This is what I want to know .....

Ok so apparently Iv worked out to eat 60g of protein and 60g of carbs per meal ( not including snacks) wich I eat nuts Brazil nuts cashews etc.. My question that I want to know is when it comes to weighing out my food , lets take protein for example, do I just weigh 60g of chicken breast, or does chicken have a certain amount of protein in it per gram? To me 60g of chicken breast is small and I go round like a zombie all day and feel sick in the gym coz I feel like I haven't eaten properly and ave no energy! I'm thinking 60g of chicken might only have like a small amount of protein in it and Hereford am weighing up wrong !! If someone can clarify this I'd much appreciate it....
Also how much Brazil nuts in weight should I eat snack times .. Cheers

Use food tracking calorie programs. You weight the chicken for example and they know the breakdown of its components suvh as protein, fat, nutrients, etc. They do all the math for you. You can get them for you computer and/or smart phone.

To answer you specific question, 60 grams of chicken dose NOT equal 60 grams of protein. Like most foods, much of chicken's weight is made up of water.

By the way, if you read the label on the package the chicken came in it will tell you how much protein and other things are there per serving. Servings are usually measured by weight, volume or units.

If you have an iphone you can get MyFitnesPal app - you have it with you all the time so you can quickly record and review the macros of everything - before or after you eat it - gives you final tallies at the end of the day also. I am not sure if it works on other platforms as well.

Hey guys I have posted earlier about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and got some great advice, I just thought I would put some more questions out there so I can be as informed as possible, Sorry if I am being repetitive just really worried about my health with the protocol im on and the doctor im with. Here is my levels and more questions. My Total test- 9.3 nmol/L and Free test- 8.1 nmol/L. Although my extremely inadequate doctor did no other hormonal tests these testosterone levels seem very strange for a 25 year old male with otherwise no health issues im aware of. I was put on 200mg test E once monthly ( No Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and No Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) ), Doc isn't concerned with monitoring E2 or any other hormone levels. He is literally just injecting exogenous test with no care in the world as to what it is going to do me. At first I was so excited to maybe start feeling like myself again and that everything was going to get better but now 3 weeks after the injection I am feeling so terrible. I get EXTREMELY irritated by everything and anything and when this happens I feel shaky and restless to the point I feel I need to walk it off. I have never been an angry person, Im a very humble guy who cares very much for others. Is this normal when being on TRT? or is this because my test levels are now worse than they were before I started? I have absolutely NO energy at all and feel very sluggish if that makes sense. Its hard to get going in the morning and I burn out very fast. I have NO sex drive at all and the weird thing is that for like a week after getting my first injection I felt like my sex drive was suddenly on fire or awakened. And another thing I want to mention is that I am sweating so severely its kind of freaking me out. I will just sweep the floor which takes no energy at all and sweat will literally be dripping off my face, and I'm not even exaggerating. I have never sweat like this, not even after running a mile in the hot sun. Is this another normal symptom? I am so sorry for all these questions but I am at a total loss. My doctor seems so ignorant to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and wont listen to any of my concerns. He refuses to prescribe any more than 200mg a month and will NOT even split the dose up to 100mg twice monthly to help with the ups and downs. I dont understand, I thought this was going to help me? I feel worse than ever and almost wish I never even knew I had test levels this low. I cant even find a new doctor who wont charge an arm and a leg to help me. ( I live in CANADA by the way, where health care is free ) No one seems willing to help me or let me know what is really going on with me. Once again sorry for the rant/questions Im just feeling helpless right now. Thanks < JB >

You don't have an adequate protocol....you need to start at 100mg per week, don't go any longer than a week between injections....you might possibly do better injecting 50mg every 3.5 days, it makes for a smoother ride for many and it helps keep E2 down....doing that you might not need an AI...many do better with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but your doc might not help you with that.

as you've discovered, 1 shot ever month is asking for failure.

e2 MUST be monitored.

maybe try to talk him into self injection - and then split the dose up yourself. 50mg is probably too light, but at least it would be a start.

hey guys im having an issue with my profile. when i click on it, it sends me to some other guys profile with a very similar name. mine is < JB > and his has the same initails just slightly different. is there anythign i can do about this?

Hey in the past i have had liver problems, very low liver function tests (this was two years ago). Got checked out they thought it was serious stuff, but i was honestly tested for everything and nothing showed up and my functions returned to the normal range.... where I am leading with this is i am healthy now very common routine, I have been lifting for 5 years consistently and have had good diets. But now i wanna try something new, i was thinking anavar just to get my toes wet. Would anavar result in damage to my liver? I know it has to survive the first process through your stomach to make it into your blood stream, which makes it liver toxic. But i was just wondering to what extent, any estimate? Sorry about the short read, Thank you !

This is the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum. Hop over to the anabolic forums on this site and start by reading the stickies. You've got a lot to learn and that is the place to start.

Sounds like you might have low testosterone. Have you gotten a blood test recently?

It is poor site etiquette to ask for sources openly in the forums -- especially with your very first post. Throwing in a "please" goes a long way too in getting people to want to help you.

If Anyone Could Assist Me Through PM To Further Discuss The Subject Or point Me In The Right Direction I Would Appreciate It Please. My Apologies For Being So Abrupt.

Hey, I recently joined up and started a thread about beginning testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) - steroidology.com/forum/testosterone-replacement-therapy/651399-just-starting-trt-some-general-questions-advice-would-appreciated.html

I want to contact someone from IMT staff about arranging an online consultation... but I can't send private messages until I've made 50 posts. If someone could PM me with a contact email address, that'd be helpful. I've submitted an enquiry via their website also if that helps.

Thanks
