I'm a female and have been on 2.5mg anavar a day for two full weeks after much research let alone mental preparation to even attempt it. (first time) Now, as I read to be true, it is definitely in my system, however the gastro issues are absolutely horrendous. Abdominal pain and diarrhea like no other. Went thru all the suggestions to reduce it. Nothing is working. Eating clean and have to run to the bathroom every time I eat. Wanted to increase to 5mg a day but am scared to death. Does the body ever adjust enough for this to level out?

Females...help!!!!

welcome to ology

thats a very moderate dose and im surprised your having gastro issues from it , var does not have a reputation for causing stomach trouble.
is it possible that the stomach issues are not being caused by the var ?

My thoughts exactly!

What brand anavar are you running? I don't believe it is the anavar causing this at 2.5 mg per day if it is indeed anavar. It could very well be something else. Anavar and primo are the most faked.

Have you changed anything else in your diet or supplementation besides the var?

BD. (thoughts?) and no, I haven't changed a thing. Thanks for ur replies, please educate me. I'm a freak with research. I dissect it, mutilate it and mince it before I'm satisfied. Just can't firgure it out. The only other thing is a stomach virus, but I've had them before and never to this extent or duration. Ugh!!!!!

I've just started 2.5mg of var Monday! Had headaches and felt uneasy but belly has been fine I've been taking it with food. Have u noticed any muscle changes at all?

I agree with DADAWG, var does not have a reputation for causing stomach issues, but everyone reacts different so it's hard to tell.

Could also be a stomach virus..I have school age kids & they're always bring home stomach viruses, and they could really mess u up pretty bad ...
Hope your feeling better now :)

Hi ladies. Thanks for your thoughts. Needless to say that I stopped taking the var wed and the stomach issues did not cease til yesterday (sat), so I guess it was viral. I am sooooooo regimented with my diet that I really thought it was the var.

Frenchy121...what do you mean by "uneasy"? And nothing in the first week, altho my skin started to tighten up and felt a bit harder by the end of week two. The pump while training is almost fatiguing..when are u increasing your dose?

Mrs.P...I have kids in school too and the sick monsters leark often. Thanks, I am feeling much better. Some of my reading did reveal gastrointestinal issues with taking Anavar (var), as well as variation with different individuals, so we will see....I'm really hoping it was in fact viral.

Hi mrs body!

So it wasn't the var after all? You going to jump back on it?
Uneasy... Hard to explain prob on edge/anxious. I'm fine now though. I'm going bk up to 5mg next week as I feel I've adjusted.
There is a new thread here titled anavar update I think? People saying they held water with var and gained fat?? How do you know your holding water I would have no idea!

Frenchy, I'm going to try to refrain from sounding like a total asshole here, but you have no business being on steroids, NONE at all. As a wise man said in another thread today "Steroids aren't fucking flinstones vitamins"

Ok..... Why give me lots of advice before starting a cycle then? How would you know I have no business using them?

Frenchy when I'm holding water I see it in the way I look, I feel bloated, my clothes fit a bit tighter...Kindda of how you feel a few days before your period, most women normally retain some water before their period.
You can even measure your waist & compair it.

Also when you press your thumb into your forearm and remove your hand and your thumb leaves an impression, or dent, in your skin for several seconds after you have removed your hand, then you have severe water retention.

You know you body, so trust me if you are retaining water you'll know.

BTW, the women that complain about var & water bloat most likely felt this after the 3rd week, or so.

essays, I'm going to remind you that there's no such thing a "dumb qustion" these females are here to learn & get their questions answered. If you feel the question is not worthy of your time,
simply skip the thread & don't reply.

We want the female members to feel comfortable & to know that the interaction they get on this board from Males & Females is a positive one.

Have any of you ladies noticed any difference with your "girl parts" from cycling Anavar (var)? You don't have to go into any detail I just have a friend thats been asking me and I know a whole lot about AAS just not for females.

Everyone reacts different. I ran Var for 12 weeks and noticed several changes throughout my body.

when I, or my GF start to retain substantially more water than usual, i see it in my face first. she also gets very strong when it goes up.

as far as the stomach issues, its very possible its the pills but it may not be the Anavar (var), it could be the filler. some guys get constipated on pills, others can have the runs, but it shoud get better.

most likely though you started watching your diet much more closely when you started the Anavar (var), even when people say they dont, they usually do. that could be the cause as well.
