draw/inject with 21g 1.5 inch

I read the thread about injection tips, but is it really impossible to draw AND inject with a 21g 1.5 inch needle?

(heh, everytime I think I've got this all sussed something else confuses me)

That's a big pin for injecting.

Besides, it's best if you don't draw and inject with the same needle anyway. Use a new one for each so they're sharp and sterile.

NO Ouch! That would be like sticking a screwdriver through your skin bro. You draw out with the 21 gauge, then you change the needle either a 23 or 25 gauge to inject. I prefer the 25g 1 inch personally.

I've done it before, but never again. Might as well use a harpoon! Stay with a 23g virtually painless in the vastus lateralis site

yeah when your talking about gauges the lower the number the thicker it is. this applies to more than just needle sizes.

anyways i use a 25g to pin and a 22g to draw. never had a problem. i have heard some ppl using slin pins to pin. but if you do that you need to be very lean and have the oil warm and thin.

O and i used 22G 1.5in both draw and inject without any problems... i know alot say to change needles but i never bothered... id steralize the top of the vial b4 putting the needle threw it then draw... then steralize my skin and bam... no issue's over here

Ya it can be done, but punching through the rubber stopper dulls the fuck out of the needle. Screw that, they're dirt cheap. I prefer smooth and painless.

I used 21 gage when I first started - and it just made everything easier when I switched to the following...

Now I use a 23 for drawing and 25 for injecting.

Just like Chris mentions - they are so cheap - there's know reason scrimp on pins.

I bought 22g 3ml syringes, draw with that, change needle to a 27g, get the air our and inject in my quad. Look on youtube for the "Test Cypionate injection" Its by a Michael Bolton looking DR. Worked for me. I think I posted a link in the "Injection Technicques" thread.
