lol, it's an exageration (sp?) to describe what you're doing. BTW what you described is typically called an olympic squat to differentiate it from the PL squat.

yea angry, front squats are nice - i find i really HAVE to go deep while front squatting. it also helps your deads apparently.

either you aren't squatting alot or your knees are going to give alot of trouble (if they aren't already).

Yes, I started out doing the olympic squat and now that's what feels right. I've never tried the power lifting style of squat. I can see how I could easily mess up the form on the PL style.

What is the benefit of the PL squat over the olympic? Perhaps that's a question for another thread...

ATG meaning if there were blades of grass your ass would tip them.

Bouncing your actual ass on the ground can't be healthy.

It seems to me the lower the better, as long as the weight isn't too heavy and actually causing damage

No, I don't think so.

Olympic the body is more upright all the way down and up. I don't bounce and I don't think it is recommended.

Most of the time ass to grass, sometimes not that low, but I have no idea cuz my eyes are somewhat closed when going heavy
