Extremely Sore Quad (Test Prop)

Ok, I just started my 2nd cycle. This is my first time using prop. First two shots were in the left and right delts, respectively. They were moderately sore but nothing unbearable.

Did my 3rd shot on Thurs night in my right quad. I always heat my gear up with a hair dryer before I pin using a 25G needle. After shooting, I went right to bed. The past 2 days I've been limping around with "dead-leg" syndrome. It's to the point where I cannot even do legs at the gym :mad: It's painful to bend the leg at the knee. I'm sure the soreness will go away in a few days, but any tips/suggestions for combating the severe soreness? Should I have massaged the muscle more after pinning? Should I be stretching the muscle out after pinning? Go for a long walk?

Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dammit! This makes me think twice about pinning my quads now!
 
I need to look into the ventro-glute site injection and possibly trying the slin-pin method. I think I tried using a slin-pin once last cycle but the oil was too thick to push through... :o

Slin pin? I thought that was more for insulin and HCG?......I maybe wrong.

It is traditionally used for insulin and HCG (sub-q injections). However, some users do IM injections with them. You pull the plunger out, inject the gear using a syringe, then put the plunger back in and shoot.
 
Sounds like you have lean muscle in your legs and you trapped an oil bubble there. You can wait for it to disperse on it's own or you can work it out. Once you get this down you will be able to inject quads problem free. I had the same problem with my half muscle. It felt like I was getting kicked everytime I took a step. That's the bubble. Do leg extentions till it's gone. Won't take more than 10-15 minutes.

stick with delts and glutes... I really dont understand why so many guys dont do glute injects... they are the easist, safest and less painful...

one more thing... unless u are in "contest shape" i wouldn't recommend using slin pins for IM injections bro...

Did ventrogluteal tonight. I was pretty nervous (not very flexible and tough to find the spot), but it went okay.
 
I know while i was on test 450 it felt like i had a softball size knot in my leg hurt like hell,I couldnt even bend my leg to tie my shoe .So i tried heating the gear ,very slow injections and heating the spot with massaging afterwards ,and believe it or not the slower i injected it the better it was on me ,plus i was like you i couldnt do leg workouts wich i love to do,so i just started pinning in my ass ,and it was a lot easier to deal with,but i honestly believe if a aas is keeping you from working out and you can not fix the problem fuck it ,it aint worth all that shit
 
Never once had a problem with glutes! I pinned my diet a little low once, once, never do that again was in a hurry I guess,,ouch!! Quads still get sore I would like to try calves,,I pin ed so have to rotate alot, shower first and pin in the morning, pinning before bed and you don't move around at all so will definitely. Feel more sore
 
try pinning them in the morning. i would pin my quad in the mornng and then since im walking around most of the day it keeps the muscle warm and loose and greatly reduces soreness. ive done the pin at night and go to sleep and its def way more sore doing it that way. or even better would be pin then go workout the muscle you just pinned.
 
Quads are ok with me except I haven't ran prop yet?

I did some Ultra Test last year (HRT) and it had 50mg of Prop in there I think. I quit that shit because wherever I injected had a baseball sized knot and I couldn't even bring my leg up to tie my boot much less squat down.

And my quads / delts are very used to being pinned... I even mixed it with Deca and was still sore as hell.

But I've ran a different grade of straight Prop mixed with Test E and had no issues.

So in my experience it depends on who made the stuff...

interesting....ive also heard that sustanon is an issue and tends to create pain during injection and more soreness....I have mixed prop and enanthate the past 3 times and have been fine...all in the quad...little soreness but nothing crazy...i also noticed that when i used a 23g pin i had less soreness the next day than when i used a 25g but the 25g hurts less going in so i stuck with that....its near painless with a 1" 25g terumo!!!! excel and BD suck IMO...BD isnt as bad as excel but Terumo have the best pins i think....most hospitals use them also....which says something...but a good amount use BD also so....i dunno
 
I think it also has to do with the users body. A buddy and i are on the same batch of Sustanon (sust). Both injecting quads and glutes. I have hardly any soreness. He walks around bitching like an old lady that is cold and lost her sweater and his injection areas swell like a mofo for the entire week. Oh well.
