Family Doc just called me................

As we say in the lovely USA, shit or get off the pot. :-)

Good luck. Hopefully you realize your best choices are to source your own clomid and give it a try or just begin testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Good luck with whatever you choose.

Most doctors are fairly lazy and once they see a precedence set they tend to just go along with what has been done. Find another doc, screw this bozo (as has been mentioned a MILLION TIMES) and get back on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) man as it will show in your history that you had been prescribed it previously.

Stop the adex (I think there's a psychological component at play here) for now and get on a REAL protocol. Killing your estrogen isn't the solution here, and is only going to make you feel like crap. I seriously doubt clomid will do much for you, but as has also been mentioned; just buy it and see for yourself. You're a lab testing fiend, this isn't a stretch by any leap of the imagination for you to do.

Come on Apollon, you know the answers and all you have to do is JUST DO IT (RAWR NIKE AD HERE). ;)

My .02c :)

thanks Halfwit....
definitely going to lose this doc....
next wee going on Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 500 i.u. 2 times a week and will stay on it while I do labs.....
will go from there....
Although it may not be wise to totally cut this doc off....he gives me unlimited complete blood panels each appointment.
Did 4 already this year....the works too!

you honestly think clomid won't do anything for me?
I'm 33

What does your age have to do with it? Clomid only tricks your HPTA into creating more testosterone by faking it into believing it has low estrogen. Your LH and FSH aren't rock-bottom, so I can't see it giving you miraculous results. My non-doctor opinion is to get back on the testosterone; it's just flat-out the best protocol with the least sides in my humble opinion. This is of course assuming you can't restart, but you very well could have caused permanent shutdown by going on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) years ago.

FYI: I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 33. Food for thought. ;)

Choose one or the other. Be decisive for once in your life! Flip a coin if you have to. :-) But end this paralysis by analysis you have going on. Time to make a decision and stick by it. Try clomid or go straight on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Both are good choices. Can't go wrong with either of them really. Just choose.

I was looking to use this phrase in response to a question I got and it was escaping me. I spent 15min trying to think of it to no avail and now it "comes to me" through you hahaha. Thanks Megatron!

ok...
I am worried about the long term effects testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) might have....
doc says it has not been studied on it's long term effects...
I also haven't had kids yet...
TRT will make me sterile and the cost of running Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for years is $$$ costly....
these are some things that have held me back

you've got a lot of good information in this thread.. and you really have 2 decisions, either get back on whether it be thru a doc or on your own running testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dosages OR keep toying around with different formulas trying to restart..

and in my personal expierence I know multiple people who have been on for years who have managed to have kids if that is your only reasoning behind trying to restart....

whatever it costs for a bottle of test cyp running only 1 shot a week should be pretty affordable even if you plan on blasting compared to keep getting seen by docs..

So 20-25 years isn't enough of a study for you? Sperm bank, learnaboutit.

I'm seeing excuses now, which blows my mind as I know personally how much having low testosterone sucks ass. So instead of making excuses, why don't you say what you're really afraid of? No way it's that simple. (It's FREE in Canada, no?)

then why did my doc tell me "we don't know the long term effects of this"?
this is all weird man...
it's a power struggle between Anti testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) docs who practice mainstream medicine and PRO testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) docs...
This family doc told me..."I can do the same thing those testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) docs can do...but with anti depressants"
so...so weird man!!!!
Truly a sick cult of psychos!!!
I also don't feel proud of myself taking shots every week...
I think I'm in denial and trying to scape goat around it.

It doesn't make you any less of a man. Society's standard of a "real man" is a stretch for anyone but the most genetically gifted. Most of the models, actors, bodybuilders you see aren't natural. Think of all the beautiful women we see. Few are naturally stunning, most have boob jobs or other cosmetics done.

Why are you still talking to that ass-clown? He is giving YOU excuses on why he's afraid to prescribe a controlled substance. Yeah, putting you on SSRI's or other mind-altering drugs is WAY better for you -- NOT. I'd like to know how anti-depressants can help you prevent catabolism of lean mass, improve your metabolism, improve your lipid profile, facilitate proper sexual function and many many MANY other benefits. STOP SEEING THAT QUACK.

Dude, it's no different than a diabetic injecting insulin. Do you look down on diabetics because their pancreas gave up the good fight? I agree, you're definitely in denial and need to take action.
