ok so i know it probly depends on alot of things u do, for how much u can keep from gains in cycles....

but lets just be realistic for the average person... how much gains would u consider easy / average for most people to keep?
if u were to do everything correctly post cycle therapy (pct) etc....

and another fact my friend told me if u get Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) u can keep 100% of ur gains is this bullcrap??

Ur friendis b s ing you.

It s up to you. Too many variables to answer this.
Your dedication and follow up in respect to post cycle therapy (pct), food rest and reducing the volume of your training..really...will dictate this.

Why do you say reduce the volume of training, i thought it would be important to keep hard at it?
This interests me a lot as im just about to finish my first cycle.

You want to train as hard and intense as always..but with no gear even the best pct can not mimic the recovery properties gear gives you.

I said volume reduction..the number of sets and exercises...not intensity.

Diet and sleep are even more paramount i m o.

Agree 100% with T. Diet has to stay up and training just as hard but reduce the volume. When you don't have the extra hormones, over training will reduce test levels.

X2. Agreed

Yeh this makes sense. Iv just had an injury to my rotator cuff and the physio says i cant workout chest or shoulders hard for two months. So disappointing ill lose a lot of gains. Right at the end of the cycle too. Ill still be smashing legs and back though.

First cycle I ate really really clean and gained 15 lbs. 3 months later I was only 3 lbs lighter and looked the same. I think I kept MOST of my gains that cycle.

My apologies to original poster, not hijacking the thread, but i have the similar question as well...what if you are on lifetime testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and do a cycle with deca,i assume that you would follow what already has been posted....diet,training volumes??Just curious

Too many variables to answer this.

This is an entertaining question, but like said above waaaaaay too many things come into play here.

What cycle number is this, what did you run, how long, how long are you staying off that you are asking to "keep your gains," what are your genetics like, whats your diet like before/during/after, whats your sleep like, work life, how amazing are you at expertly modifying your routine before/during/after cycling, do you like Obama, and so on.

this is 100% correct . it is VERY easy to overtrain post cycle.
