mass for tall people

I can reverse about 90% of my flat press.
i cant flat 90% of my reverse grip:D
that is true , but i just started back conventional benching this month after at least 5-6 years without even 1 flat/incline/decline conventional press . to say its very humbling is a understatement .
for the record well over 700 pounds has been benched in competition reverse grip by anthony clark.

BE REASONABLE

I am 6'5'' with no shoes and I'm down to 250 at about 9-10%.
I was at 318 due to a 8 week cycle of Sust 250 and some serious eating. I started out at 175 at the age of 24. Take my advice and stop any cardio or extra exercise for awhile. I played basketball for 20 years daily but when I stopped and started lifting dieting serious I went up to 215 and kept almost the same waist size in about 1 year naturally! After that
I got stupid and went on a bulking cycle for over a year and gained 70 lbs. which was mostly fat! Just keep in mind that we tall guys will never fill out our frames like the guys that are 5'9''. My advice is to
be consistent and set reasonable goals. Keep up with your measurements and start a journal. Don't bulk up to far because I've learned that losing 60-70 lbs is hell on your stregnth and I've learned through trial and error that strength has been the key to my gaining true size. Get on a simple program for beginners that is mostly movements multijoint exercises. get on www.fitday.com and start an account(it's free).Find out your daily expediture and add about 500-750 calories to that total. Try to keep it as clean as possible. Trust me,
at your height if you eat Wendy's all day then you'll look like it. I tried the 10k a day route and i was just a fat ass. Slower is better! Less long dieting stints and no stretch marks. good luck

if you knew how to eat and train properly you coud have lost BF and got stronger. Hmmm......... happens everyday.

I am available for on line training. This includes a lifting program that will put lean body mass on you. I can set your nutrition up so that you can put size/strength on more quickly or you can loose BF and get stronger at the same time. We can talk on the phone and I will answer all emails and PMs. As you get into the routine we will make necessary adjustments to keep you headed in the right direction. I also train clients at my gym on a one on one basis. My rates for online training are $200 for the first three months total, then 50 bucks a month after that. If you are interested PM me and we’ll get started.

Please check out some of the training videos in the16th frame to see a few action shots of me at the gym just so you know that I know what I am doing. Not all shots are of me but most are for educational purposes and not my ego cause none of them show me moving heavy weight. I hold several state, national and world records in the master’s division in power lifting. I have been certified and continue to study on a daily basis. I can advise you with supps and juice needs as well.

I have never trained anyone that didn’t make great gains and break thru barriers they thought impossible. Reaching goals and setting new ones. I specialize in strength training, which is the key to getting bigger.

Current stats are 6' 307lbs this AM.

Bench 585
Squat 805
Dead 675.

Re: Re: BE REASONABLE

it is 100% entirely possible to lose body fat, and gain lean muscle mass. i did it myself, following pullinbigs routine and diet. and i also agree with pullinbig, that longrob, if you knew how to train and eat properly that loss of 70 lbs. was hell on your strength, would not have been an issue had proper diet and training been in order. everyone is different, people can eat wendys everyday, and still maintain the 7-8%bf. its not impossible, everyone is different. compound movements are the best, squat, deadlift, cleans etc...

pullinbig knows what hes talking about, and his stuff works like magic. i am currently on something new :) that is working really well for me as well as PBs routine.

thats my 2 cents... i know its not a very well put together post, but oh well :-p

i have been WAYYY busy with work, got a promotion... and well, the ladies have kept me occupied a bit as well :D i have been tryin to get on here when i can, but its tough workin 50+ hours a week :(

your from NC right pb?

the bad news........being 6'2", it will be harder to put on mass you see on others shorter than you, it will take some time.

good news......when and if you acquire that mass, on a tall frame, its a beautiful dominant silhouette.

stick to the same principles as others....core lifts, eat eat eat!

i myself am 6'3", and i believe Mudge is your heighth....just keep at it brother, progresses slowly, but when its there, youll like what you see.

everything that was said here is true.

especially that, couldnt agree more
