Okay, Let me start off by saying that I am not the one in pain, but it's my friend. She has been suffering from sciatic nerve pain for a decent amount of years. She has seen the doctor and they have not done much at all for her and it doesn't seem to be helping, whatever protocol they gave her.

I read a old post by Aust:
*2 grams of L-Carnitine
*1 gram of Inositol/Vit B8
*600mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid.
-Take Above ED w/Mixture of B Vitamins for better absorption.

I've been looking into these particular compounds.

I've also read that ALT 711 can help with nerve issues, but I have no idea for the dosage, NOR can I find any information on it online/studies.

If anyone can give me any extra help in terms of more supps, tips or anything.. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have had problems with my low back for 20 years. I have a herniated disc l4-l5. The only thing I have ever found that helps is to keep my core strong. I train abbs every day. It also helped to stop wearing a belt while lifting and using perfect form.

there is so much to this, without more information there is nothing but guessing.. heck it could be as simple as one of her legs is just slightly longer then the other and thats causing sciatic nerve pain (she just needs a heel riser in her shoe),, it could be a hip slightly out of place and a couple of months of chiropractic work may help.

Or it could be in the spine, spinal stenosis, bulging arthritic discs, etc.. MRI is the first step imo

My bf and w o partner has it from wearing his 40 on his duty belt for umpteen years. He finally had a doc and chiro both right letters PRESCRIBING a thigh rig as the 40 was forcing his right buttocks out of line with the rest of his chasis.

I even watch how I get out of my car these day s. The variable s are infinite, the cure s finite but to get to the root is the problem. Is she athletic, have good posture etc.....?

It's mainly a sharp pain from the lower back down to the legs. She said she got it from turning a lot in the car and it just developed over time. She does not exercise at all.

Need more info, when did the pain start? what triggered it, turning alot in the car? what does that mean brother?

I have a herniated disc l4-l5. Had it for over 20 years. It got so bad at one point, I had an appointment with a neurosurgeon, because of paralysis in my right leg.

I never had surgery, and most doctors I talked to didn't recommend it. The only thing that ever helped was to keep a strong core. If I slack off abb work, I'm almost guaranteed problems in a few weeks. If she keeps a strong core, I bet she doesn't have as much trouble with it.
