New bike tomorrow!

I know not a lot of people get up in this forum, but I'm about to pick up my next bike tomorrow, my first Harley!

It's an '08 Softail Custom, dark red with 5k miles. Will post up some pics when I get it to the house tomorrow!

I've always ridden sport bikes in the past, but decided it was time to pick up a cruiser and just take it easy, so it will be an interesting switch.

Thanks guys it's going to be awesome!

I took it for a test ride today and it rides beautifully, just need to spend some time learning the finer points of riding a cruiser at slow speeds like parking lots, slow turns, etc.

On my R1 I could just flick it around and it almost just did what I wanted without me even having to think about it....will take a few miles but I'll get there with this one.

Congrats! I need to buy another bike, I just sold my 2009 CBR1000RR, a truly divine machine. I had every single Rizoma part that the company makes on that bike. I still cannot believe I sold it. I'm trying not to cry right now. Sorry for ramblin, enjoy the freedom!

I had a 1000RR too and absolutely loved it, it was a little more forgiving than the R1 and easier to ride longer distances.

I just loved the R1 for how razor sharp everything was.

My wife calls my Hetitage my Mistress as she get all my $$$$$
