This is completely irrelevant. You said that clonidine is not dosed BID unless you're SBP is over 140 or your DBP is over 90. I said that, because those numbers are in fact what defines hypertension, you wouldn't be prescribed clonidine for hypertension unless either of those were true. Thus, most people who are prescribed clonidine are going to be taking it at least once, if not twice, every day. The cause of or solutions to the OPs hypertension, or his reliance on medications, has nothing to do with the discussion.
