I notice you start your pull ups doing the maximum number of reps. Have you ever tried doing warm up sets then doing your work set at the end? This seems to work much better for me.

Hey man - lookin good - you notice any difference in your stats? R u trying to gain now - or just get crazy ass lean and cut? Doing any cardio? still got the clean up cardio gig? LOL

Have a good weekend, dude!

I've done that with a bunch of other lifts like Bench, Shoulder Press, Lat Pull Down, etc... but never thought to do it for Pull Ups.

I think I'm going to give it a go next time I do Pull Ups.

Have a good weekend, dude!

The reps and weight have been going up big time in all my lifts. I really like the Test/EQ stack as of right now.

I'm doing a lean bulk again. I would like to get to 240-245 and maintain that weight, while dropping the bf into single digits. I think it's very do-able being as I'm already 240lbs w/ 12% bf.

A 3% drop in bodyfat would be around 7lbs of fat and if I maintained 240lbs, that would be about 15lbs of muscle. I think this is attainable and would consist of a 1lb gain of muscle and 1/2 loss of body fat weekly. We'll see what happens.

I've been trying to get motivated enough to do cardio, but I haven't been doing much. The clean up cardio has been the only thing I've been doing, but has been ok because I'm getting paid to do it, which makes it a whole hell of a lot easier.

The question then becomes are pull ups really different from all those other lifts?

The question then becomes are pull ups really different from all those other lifts?

The answer is as simple as NO. For some reason most people don't consider them on the same playing field as weighted exercises, meanwhile they prove more beneficial than most other exercises.

Why do you do sumo deads on a back day? I always do them on leg day, but intrested on what are your ideas behind it?

Day 28 and 29

NO TRAINING

200iu's HCG... belly fat (Day 28 (2/6))

375mg Enanthate, 300mg EQ... right glute (Day 29 (2/7))

*feel like I'm getting a little bit of a bug... plan on biting it in the ass and fighting through it

I find they are about 80% back and 20% legs, therefore they are a compound movement I do on back day. That's really it.

Day 30

One month into the cycle...

Results thus far:
*~9lb increase in body weight
*1-2% reduction in body fat
*Went from struggling to get 295 for 2 on Flat Bench Day 5 to 315 for 2 on Falt Bench Day 26.
*Have felt like my muscles are full constantly and pumps have been very good.

Room for Improvement:
*Need to tighten the diet up a little bit. By no means has it been sloppy, but I'd like to bump the carbs down a little bit and ramp up the protein slightly.
*Cardio. I have been doing the "Clean Up Cardio" 3x a week (Fri/Sat/Sun), but I need to be doing some more traditional cardio as well. Going to shoot for 30 minutes 3x a week.

Day C6: Legs, Abs

Leg Press 5plates/12, 6plates/10, 7plates/20 (failure)
Sumo Squats 225/10, 255/8, 275/5
Leg Extensions 170/8-4-3RP
Seated Leg Curls 120/7-4-2RP

Nautilus Calf Press 200/15 (DC Style)
45 Degree Calf Press 180/8 (DC Style)

Hanging Leg Raises 2 x 10 (super slow and controlled)
Decline Bench Crunches 2 x 15

*had a great workout today although I felt slightly under the weather this morning

I'm almost positive that my form for Sumo's is perfect. I find that they do incorporate your quads and hammy's much more than traditional deadlifts, but that they are still an exercise that should be done on back day. I would assume that my body structure (6'3"+ and 78 inch wingspan) may allow me to target my back more so than my legs while doing Sumo's.

Thanks for the compliment.

Day 31

250iu's HCG... belly fat
*going to start up the Clen again tomorrow

Cable Cross Overs 100/12, 100/12, 110/10
Extreme Chest Stretch 75 Seconds

DB Shoulder Press 70's/10, 75's/10, 85's/6
Leaning One Arm Side Raises 35/10, 35/10, 35/10
Extreme Shoulder Stretch 60 Seconds

Rope Push Downs 150/12, 150/12, 150/10
CGBP 185/10, 225/7, 275/3
Extreme Triceps Stretch 60 Seconds

*had a really good training session, felt good the hole time and put up some good weight today
*been training with my roommate for the last month (he's all natural and lost ~50lbs in the last year) and it's been nice to have someone who is looking to push themselves hard all the time... he's looking to do a body re-composition and thus far it's been working
