I missed a logging couple workouts. I have not been feeling good and lost even more weight because i couldn't eat much. Down to 165 and feeling like shit.
Went through the moves today.

I took a little time to rehab an old lingering shoulder prob. It feels really good right now. I have been working out but mostly high rep work on chest, so I have lost some strength I am sure. for legs and back I have been doing sets of anywhere from 5 to 10.

I am not on a cycle right now and currently weighing around 172. I try and stay at this weight give or take. I am 5'6", 35 yo. bf around 10-12%.

Oh btw since I switched over to the routine you put on the "do deads thicken the waste" thread, i added approx 50 pounds to my bench max. It went from around 295 to 345 (raw) in about a year.

I like to do this one set on calves, I just keep doing them until I can't tolerate the burn anymore, stop for a few seconds and continue. Usually can't hardly walk after this set.

I do squats to parallel, I do not go ass to the ground anymore. I seldom wear wraps and I use a belt only for heaviest sets.

why not all the way down on squats? stopping short puts more stress on the knees than going deep. plus bny cutting them off you robbing your self of leg growth. you fil any of your squats to check your depth?

heres a parallel squat.

not saying you are or arent but most guys who say they squating parallel aint coming close. i have seen some clips of guys who thought they were parallel and wont even close. film your self and do an honbest appraisal. or go all the way down and dont worry about it.

BTW this diagram will get a redlight in most feds for lack of depth. PLing rules state you must break parallel. some feds are a little looser on this but for the most part its a fair shake.

Ok I will record myself to see. I haven't gone all the way down for a few years. I have been afraid I was going to hurt my knees to be honest. Do you feel that it is not much harder on the knees when you go all the way down. Other than that I have no reason. My partner always tells me when I am parallel. I guess I should start going all the way down again. Damn I feel like a pussy now :)

your weights will be lower for a breif time but they will catch back up.

all the way down is easier on the knees as long as you not dive bombing.

you got a digital camera?

back off on the weight and go all the way down. do it in the power rack and set the pins so if you gotta dumpit you can.

I do have a digital camera and also a camcorder. Just never learned how to send a small video like that.

My prob is that I workout at my office. Don't have time to get to the gym most of the time. I have squat racks and also a bench that has pins high enough for me to squat off of that but no rack. So if I can't get up on squat I am stuck. Guess I could stand close enough that I could lean forward if I get stuck. I'll figure something out.

you got the softwear downloaded on your pc so you can transfer files from your digital recorder to the pc? id so you set. if not you can get free downl;oads from the manufactorer off the web most of the time.
