Hello guys , so i met my endo today after he told me to get my tests done frm a lab of his choice ! He asked me to get TT, Free test ,E2, Prolactin ! i have included the pic of results! so after seeing the report he told me tht everything is fine ,just my e2 is slightly out of range !

i told him abt my erection issues so he has told me to start DHEA for 3 months and said tht should fix my prob. of erections !I got my DHEA checked in feb. which was in range (307) so wondering how would this help ? just wanted to update you guys regarding this for ur opinions !

3J,

I'm absolutely not challenging you as you know far more than I, just asking a question to add to the conversation. Why do you say you don't see a need for HRT/TRT when his total test level is 396? The bottom of the reference ranges are typically in the low 300's, that includes a 70 year old diabetic in that range you know? 396 is low, not below reference, so most insurances won't cover TRT unless you are below reference over a period of time. Wouldn't someone want to maintain somewhere between 700-1000 ideally? I'd really like to read your thoughts. Thanks.

its unrealistic to expect someone to be at 700-1000 without hrt..

i think a few dietary changes and maybe some clomid for a while will fix his issues.. why commit to a lifetime of hrt??

and i appreciate the question brother.. i dont take it as a challenge.

Sure, it's unrealistic with out HRT, but if people are cycling, or even if they aren't, if they wan to maintain as much of their gains, and be able to continue to build they need to be able to maintain high normal Test, at least in my experience. Obviously it will vary per the body type of the person, metabolism, etc. The only reason I'd commit to hrt is if it makes you feel better, and achieve your goals physically. It's a risk, because after a certain amount of time there's not going back, but clomid is an option to.

From the studies I've read there are no know long term side effects of using clomid. So, in theory we should be able to use clomid at a moderate dose on an ongoing basis, and raise our test levels, and keep them elevated. I've read some reports of people using clomid therapy vs. hrt to achieve the exact same thing, but without having to worry about e2, and hcg.

Low BP can be the cause of ED. What is your average BP?

There are lots of things that can cause ED. It often is not due to low testosterone.

Apparently the 347-1197 range most often used (LabCorp) does NOT include the 70 year old diabetic - it's based off a population of 19 to 40 year old lean males.

Your Endo like most is a tool. You should be on a course of clomid for few months to get you up 2-300 points if it works well. I'd rather dial in my own trt with black market stuff then legit endos with pharm grade stuff. They simply do a crap job in general. Saddens me to know that so many suffer with low T and can't get the right help. Best bet is an actual hrt clinic.

Hello megatron good to hear frm u bro :)
It's not tht my bp is constantly low , I was just saying tht it's not at a higher end , like out of 6 times it would be 10-15 points low 3 times !

Like I just got it checked 2 mins back it came out to be 130/80

Clomid will increase your test and e2. Go for it, you need higher test. Get bloodwork after a few weeks to make sure e2 isnt too high.

50mg every other day IMO for a few months. Like prince said check your e2 as well. I'm no doc, just take this as an opinion from an experienced user. This isn't a pct protocol just low test I'm addressing.

Agreed ^^

This is exactly what I'm doing currently as I'm not entirely happy with my test levels either. Just staying on clomid 50mg eod for a couple months.. Maybe a year. See how I go.

Bro but as far as i knw abt it it only will keep my test up for as long as i take it , right?
and wat abt my e2, its already high @ 42

Yeah it can boost it by a heap, especially if LH is low. As much as 150% or more. If you stay on it for long enough, when you come off most/some people's levels will remain higher than it was before. Not as high as when on the clomid, but it can bring your baseline up a bit.

If I was you I'd just take the clomid (or Torem, if you cant handle clomid for sides) and get bloodwork after two weeks. If your e2 is high, and it probably will be, use a low dose AI alongside your clomid. Then get bloods done after another two weeks or so... Reassess.
