Hello all...

The problem is i've been out of the gymn for 7 weeks straight and had no workouts in this whole period of time...
the gymn got rebuilt from scratch due to new management.

yesterday (15) i finally came back and started working out...

and guess what ?? my strenght has gone down quite a lot and my resistance sucks....

Question:

since i never stoped for so much time i fail to know if i will take too long to recuperate my strenght and overall stamina and endurance among the weights...

Just as an example for u to understand what happened to me:

i used to go 3 x 8 easy on incline dumbells 112 pnds each and 330 pounds on flat bench barbell 7 weeks ago and now im not even close.....:((( WHY WHY WHY ????

p.s. since many of u are thinking gee wizz the steroid effect ran out...but you are completely wrong, i am natural, i never even touched a steroid, BUT I WILL SOON eheheh, but i am still natural, i'm 220 pounds, 11 % b fat, 5'9 tall and 18,12 inches arms, 35 inch waist, 25 inch quads, 16 inch calves, etc etc etc...

stonecold and mad are right , you will be back up to par quickly , the rest will do your joints good

just what i thought... i hopped you would say that :)))

i'm thinking very seriously of entering local competition and progress from there... my PT said i have very good genetics and if i give it all i have i will make good progress and maybe even place well on stage, but i still have a VERY LONG way to go...
need to cut on body fat and gain volume and simetry...
i do mostly compound moves, almoust no machines, very intense 6-8 reps of 3 sets each 4 or 5 exercises... what do u think of this split ? :

monday chest
tuesday back and 2 sets of bis
wednsday shoulders
thursday legs
fryday tris and 3 sets of bis
sat rest
sund rest

thanks again people

i would change shoudlers to Sat or switch it with leg day your shoulders are already being worked after chest and back so i would give it a day off or at least a couple but thats me

It sucks ass coming back after a layoff. Just remember, the harder you work, the faster you get back there.

THANKS TO ALL
second day allready regaining a lot
incredible
pains all over though eheheheh
but coming back to normal FAST

After my back surgery and no chest work for 8 weeks, I went back to the gym and 50 pound dumbells were heavy to me and my arms were waving all over the place. I felt like such a bitch, and they burned out really fast.

I kept at it and within 5 chest workouts I was back up to like the 90's.

well 4th day into my recuperation and allready making great workouts with lots of intensity, not much resistance or endurance yet but i will get there

thanx

Ive read that it takes about 2mo to lose ~50% of excercise induced gains (strength, cardiorespiratory, etc). But, as others have already said, you should get it back fairly quickly with consistent workouts.
