For sure bro. I'm very, very happy with my progress right now. The 2x6 is perfect and everything. I think my diet has to contribute greatly to this also. I don't think I'll ever be bulking ever again because my numbers are going up higher with this "cutting" diet. Its kinda weird lol.

I had about 110~carbs these past friday/saturday and my energy levels are still going through the roof. Today I will have a bit more carbs, but not much. :insane2:

Since I'm carb cycling, the days where I eat less carbs looks like this:

Meal 1 - Protein shake, oatmeal or half a yam
Meal 2 - Eggwhites, Ham
Meal 3 - 2 Chicken Breasts
Meal 4 - Protein Shake, chicken breast, veggies
Meal 5 - Half bowl of white rice, lean meat, veggies
Meal 6 - Protein shake, any other meat

I might throw some extra carbs here and there at random times. Yes, the meals are very, very skimpy and most of the meals are protein shakes, but I don't mind because I'm dropping bodyfat and my lifts are still going through the roof.

On my carb days, I just add a few sandwhiches with grain bread here and there. My carbs rarely go over 180g a day now.

**Since I am not super-anal about my diet, I would throw a cheat meal in there sometimes too, but it doesn't affect my weight/fat loss at all so I don't mind that either. :D

I think I'm losing a bit of strength on my back, but that might just be because I haven't hit it hard in about a week. I'm still eating low amounts of carbs day in and day out so this might be affecting my lifts just a bit.
 
HEy winter. Just my 2 cents but i'd like to see more sets per excersize. More working sets and volume.

Another thing is i'd drop the pull ups and add those sets to my pulldowns. I know for me I get more out of stricker form with a weight I can work with.

Nothing wrong with talking a week off from deads especially if in your off week you still hit the back and legs and add in some hyper extentions.
 
He's doing very well with the low volume work. He's been making PR's even on a restricted calorie diet and he's natural. I wouldn't change anthing right now. Low volume works, hell i'm on 2200 calories a day and getting stronger every week b/c of it. No disrespect rocco, just my honest opinion:)

Hmmm, you know JT you right. he has been getting stronger, hitting PR's every week AND he is natty! He promised me.

Yeah bro, I know where you're getting at, but like JT & Tman said, I am getting stronger, which is evident and I like my low volume stuff right now. I might change it up in the near future if I have to. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.

That was it. I did not want to do any Glute-Ham raises because I was beat. Very nice workout though. :)
 
nice work on the pr's as usual my man

oh and make all workouts vein poppers winter. i had this guy come up to me a couple weeks back on Dead day and he came up to me right after i did 500x5. he said "don't touch him in the head or he may pop." well i figure if you aint straining you aint working near hard enough. oh and btw, you weren't straining nearly enough on that last Dead video. Push yourself to new heights. you will be surprised what you can really do.
