On accident I have done sub q in my glute area. I had no problems at all except for a small bump.
On purpose I have done subq many times from my love handles to within an inch of my belly button. I prefer IM but it was interesting to experiment with.

I had none of the reported sides and I was on 5mg of Finasteride daily. HOWEVER, I was also on Testosterone so that could be why my libido and mood were good.
Its really tough to determine by feel brother. I would get labs at a certain dose and you will know for sure. I have done this many times just for the peace of mind. I don't really get sides when my E2 is low even when its in the single digits. Sides are often individualistic.
