Anzels' 2016/2017 ongoing log.

Well Milton. The last time was a while ago. Months.
I need to get on a low sodium low caffeine diet. Get my cardio in.
Once my mom passes I have to tie up the loose ends and then take a nice vacation.
Hopefully I will get thru in the meantime
 
Good luck brother I hope you can figure out how to get the anxiety down I know far too well about that. Do use a pre workout? If so, which kind? Some of those can definitely give anxiety. Also ur running 200 test 750 deca have you tried raising the test of lowering the deca?
 
Update; at the dr office the nurse checked and I was 128/88 and then after talking to the dr and telling him all my shit I got worked up and could have sworn my BP went up 30 points. Well he checked again and it was 134 over 80something.
So that's that. He said all the headache stuff is more from stress .
Mind you historically my BP is always low. 117/60 or 120/80 so this is high for me but no alarms going off .

So gibson... No i dont use pre workouts. I drink some coffee thruout the day tho.the test deca dose is familiar to me. But no try on changing doses. Maybe drop the deca to 600?
Also I may try doing cialis Ed instead of eod.
I already am takin steps to reduce caffeine. Switched to half decaf and during the day may grab a full decaf.
And of course more green tea and decaf green tea at night.
Another good idea is to reduce sodium consumption.

And I realize I may need to just go talk to someone. I am the type to keep shit in and stuff it down. No room for weakness stuff. But it looks like my weakness is I can only stuff so much down before cracks form.

And not for nothing this is the biggest one.... I'm not getting enough exercise in. The other day I trained and afterward I felt like I did a drug. I was clean high. I was relaxed and felt very optimistic . But if I miss sessions , a day or two goes by, I get in a funk. I feel more negative and I feel like I'm a caged tiger.
So I have to do more .... just that alone is why I train anyway.

So diet is not great. I been saying that. I.have 3 demons... dark chocolate (85% cocoa. 1oz a day is good for you. I eat 3.5 oz in one shot but not everyday)....ice cream and almond butter.
I can't stop once I start. But I try to fight it. Chocolate quest bars with diet coke works great!
But when I stress I eat these things. Still beats drinking a 13 pack!
The dr. Prescribe xanax for helping me at night when I have trouble falling to sleep. I will not taken them more than once or twice a week tho cause I don't need to get hooked on that shit.

With my little girl today and she wanted a cinnamon rolls so I had to have one too..... so far that's my only slip up but I'm not eating a bulk diet so if I'm careful I can keep it within my calories max.

Weight at the dr office was 206 with sneakers on and cloths and 2 meals and drinks me.
So prob more like 200.
 
Yea bro my workouts are my therapy if I didn't have them I would unravel quickly. I've never taken a drug or drink that's made me feel better than when I'm working out. Take a deep breathe and remind yourself, this too shall pass. You got this.

have you tried cutting your daily coffee cunsumption by half? and chocolate bars and diet soda too? maybe replace the stress relievers you use now with others?

I only drink diet coke once in a while. I actually drink seltzer. Almost every day. But when I get cravings a diet coke and a quest bar can go a long way

Yes I switched to 1/2 decaf chock full o nuts. It's also one brand of coffee I can drink without sugar. And as far as the chocolate.... I just can't have it in the house.
I only drink diet coke once in a while. I actually drink seltzer. Almost every day. But when I get cravings a diet coke and a quest bar can go a long way

No not at all. One brand I know of called Vintage has 5mg in a can buy u don't drink that brand. Adirondack or Seagrams 0 sodium.
It's water with gas. And it fillseems you up. It's awesome. You can also drink mineral water like San Pelligrino which is sodium free but watch out cause some mineral water brands do contain sodium.
 
Been a week but I'm back. Time to move forward as best as I can. I spent the final hours with my mom and said goodbye. She made past thanksgiving and passed away early Friday. I'm still grieving but I am ready to move on.
As you can imagine my diet has been way off and I have not been training.
Today I start eating better and tomorrow I'm getting into the gym to do something.

To anyone thinking about starting a log, do it. Having this one is getting me back faster I believe. It's a way to maintain accountability. Especially when the chips are down.
Just my 2 cents.
 
My condolences Anzel. Glad she made it through Thanksgiving. I think your diet can slide for a little while considering such a big loss. Not the worst vice. Stay strong. Thanks for sharing.
