Has any one noticed a change in there facial appearance since they have started on any kind of gear, good or bad?

for example growth in jaw or more defined by testosterone or a fuller face and more healthier looking redder face from the increased blood.

I think a fuller face is common however if you get where what's called a moon face that's a result of too much water retention from estrogen as I have read. A heavier dose of the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) your hopefully using has been suggested. The red face is a blood pressure issue I would think. I don't see any of the bodybuilders at my gym getting ready to take Jay Lenos place in the jawline dept.:beertoast

But do yo think it's possible that aas can change your facial structure if under 21? as in slight change in jaw,eye brow etc....?

On the eq it can make your face look very healthy and brighter because of the increased blood and also leading to a fuller face, not moon face., as long not over done, I think that is what he meant. does someone agree with me?

if your under 21 you shouldnt be fucking with aas in the first place

I honestly notice a big change in my face when on cycle vs off cycle. I naturally have a real thin bony face, and when I'm on cycle it fills out reallly well, and I feel like a completely different person. As for permanent changes like when I come off, I don't think so.

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean with a "fuller face"? As if the muscles of the face were fuller?

by fuller I mean when your face is testosteronized, if you know what I mean. I notice that when I have higher levels of t floating around my face look fuller and more intimidating and for some reason everything is more defines as in eye brow ridge appear bigger so does jaw and so on.

but eq is different I guess. that will literally fill your face up with blood so you face wont look bony and small with blood.

how exactly does it change from on cycle to off?

HGH can cause that change to be permanent. Its bad if you get that though, people who have it generally expect a shorter life span...At least that's what I read in some half-assed article about it.

But the testosteronized look you mentioned, absolutely! I love that. I think first of all its because some of us tend to get VERY lean while on AAS. That ultra low fat content brings out a lot of definition.
Then I guess with the right ammount of AIs or SERMS, additional water gets killed off, adding more definition.

I noticed that effect in general but it has even gotten stronger for me since I use Proviron in all my cycles.

Another theory could be from the increased mineral absorption. Dbol and many others tend to store a lot of calcium, maybe some of that ends up in the jaw line and the brows ?

the muscles in your face theoretically could grow, though i doubt one would ever notice that

and your eyebrow ridge and jaw are affected by androgens so those could also change

but i dont think most people would notice any significant changes

Bones have receptors also.. Alot do not recognize this fact. I believe some bones have more receptors than others & are more likely to be activated by high levels of igf1 & Test.

pretty much exactly what you mentioned. My temples get a bit wider. My cheeks are much more full, and to be honest I even feel like my jaw muscles right in front of my ears poof out a bit more.
Im running test deca EQ right now. Don't notice any difference with the EQ from any other cycle though. And I got bloodwork and my hemoglobin and RBC were real high.

eq and bone density

So does eq not have any effect on bone density? I believe eq also increases mineral absorption like calcium am I correct?

you guys are thinking about the old school gh when it was coming straight from the pituitary of cadavers...

Every cycle no matter what- I get bloated in the face. I should post some pics "on cycle" and "off" You would def. get a kick out of it.

However, I dont bloat anywhere else while on my AI.

Yes. Let's see some photos. My face definitely gets a little bloated on cycle. What dosage schedule of Aromatase inhibitor (AI) should I follow to bring this down?

I've also read that upping water intake can help.

Its commonly referred to as 'moon face' and most people try to avoid it.

Obviously, right? That's mentioned quite a bit in this thread. Can you offer up any methods not mentioned in this thread perhaps besides the below? What do you personally do to manage it?

  • Drink more water
  • Increase Aromatase inhibitor (AI) 12.5mg (or other est blocker) Dosage ED
  • Reduce dosage of gear

What about more cardio? Will that have an affect on it?
