Hockeyplaya18's FIRST CYCLE

How you liken the FST7 compared to your 5x5 workout? I have a very similar workout to your old one (5x5 on big lifts like squats, dead, and bench, and then choose 3-4 other workouts with 10-12 reps).

I wanna try this FST7 workout but I like squating heavy for low reps. I currently squat 345 for 5x5 on monday and then 1 set of 20 with 225 on thursday but feel like I get more out of heavier weight.

Just curious to how you like doing 4x12 compared to 5x5 on your big lifts.

That would be great man i'd love to hear how it goes. I also play hockey 2-3 times a week and throw around iron, its a great way to stay fit and strong.

With the amount of volume I do in such a short amount of time with the FST-7 I am just as sore if not more the next day, plus I feel like I burn more calories, Im drenched in sweat after it. Butttt I do miss the heavy lifts on the big 4 workouts, but its summer so its time to get cuttt up.

It all depends on what your goal is, if you still want to gain mass, I would stick to the 5x5 cause it was great for that, if you want to tone up, I would switch it up. Then theres always the best of both worlds, do the 5x5 for the big workout, then follow the FST-7 for the remainder of your workout.

Yes I plan on logging prolly all the way till about 6 weeks after PCT (Until I feel like I have stabalized and wont lose anymore of my gains) Which I hope I dont lose anything.

APRIL 26th DAY (71)

Did shoulders yesterday, really feeling run down from playing hockey and hitting the gym so Ive decided Im going to do a light arm workout today and some abs. Then take a break till Monday. Then its back to the grind, Prolly gonna take the cycle to 13-14 weeks Im at 10ish right now, I feel like I could get buck in the gym the last 3 weeks if I take a little break. Might switch up the routine as well. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Looks like you did a lot of good work last couple sessions! What are you wanting to accomplish? What are your current goals?
 
I want to have the body of Ryan Reynolds and the face of my sexy ass, lol. But yea, a buffer version of Reynolds would be a dream body of mine, so thats basically my goal. Which wont be accomplished this cycle, but every year I inch closer and closer. Im hoping once I come off the juice my bloat will go way down and Ill be wayyy more defined.

I learned a lot with this cycle, and im sure in the coming weeks/months I will have learned even more and be able to accomplish more next run in January :)

If your gonna switch go with a variation of all the things you liked best over the cycle ex. If you liked doing 5x5 for bp then do that say you liked fst for rear delts do it. Do all the sets that worked the best for you over the past 10 weeks

I've decided Im just going to go until my final vial runs out, which should be in 2-3 weeks from now.
