How to draw Test E from the vial properly?

The Reason Waldos' Hiding
So when I did my first pin yesterday, the hardest part was seriously getting the Test out of the damn vial. I even wasted a good 0.5ml of the stuff because of constant mistakes :( I don't want to waste anymore so I need a little help on the proper procedure of getting it out of the vial. From watching a couple vids and searching around Google, this is what I got..

-Clean the top of the vial with an alcohol pad for 3-5 seconds
-Take your syringe with needle attached and pull in air equal to the amount of liquid you want to draw in
-Pierce the rubber stopper with the syringe and push the air in the syringe into the vial (not in the liquid but the air above it)
-Flip the vial and syringe over and draw the desired amount of liquid (in this case it would be 1ml)

Would this be the right way of doing it? :newbie:

Yes....make sure you use a larger guage needle (18g or 21g) to withdraw, then switch to whatever you're using to inject with.

Yea that would be the right way... But like SC said...18g is golden for this..

I wish I ordered 18g ones when I ordered the 23g needles. I'll probably place an order for some. But the 23g's will still get the job done for now yes?

waait what. i thought you put the air into the oil, thats what i always did, am i doing it wrong!?! o_o

also how did you waist it? o.O can't you shoot the oil back into the vial

I'm confused on this as well. Can someone please clarify? Do you release the air just into the amp or into the actual oil itself?

Into the vial---oil-----don't matter it's just to create back pressure inside...I've never used amps, but I'd use little presure I'm asuming as you could spill...

This is what I do, draw = amount of air, peirce the vial, flip the vial so you holding it upside down....still with me??? Than I inject the air..than I draw my gear...once I've gotten close to the mark..I inject whatever air is left into the vial...then draw remaing gear to whatever dose I need...than switch pins and yada yada yada...

Also......even though I'm switching pins....I still swab...just for habit and safe practice...

Oil based AS can co-agulate in cold environment. Place the vial in a bowl of warm water to improve viscosity and make your pull easier and faster.

Thanks, will be trying this method out tomorrow :dance2:

It doesn't seem to have coagulated yet.. still easily moves around in the vial. Will definitely do this though if it seems like the Test is getting thick.

and realize that its oil based its gonna take a little while ... just be patient and let it flow ...

also make sure your needle isnt all the way up in the bottle ... keep it low in the bottle so the bivel near the top while its inverted(upside down)

Rip the entire top off the bottle, clean it with your sweaty t shrt.. and pour gear into the back of 4-3 cc syringes...2.5 cc s. 100 cc s loaded in under 2 minutes.
Put on fresh virgin pin each time you deliver the amount that you want..
Sterility is overrated..don t want the immune system fkn slackin on you..
( All newbies..I m joking)
( Vet s you know I m not..)

Bump, have a question guys, might be dumb,

But can you reuse the needle that you use only for withdrawal? Or is it just as cheep to buy the needle alone ...I don't think my rite aid sells needles alone.

I have a box of regular 23gauge syringes.
