They were strict for the first 4 on the first set of 202, but after 3rd rep on last set I was cheatin a bit. 202 is such a weird number to be using, but I had to because of the gym being so busy. I should get 5x2 of 200 next week. Going to squat tonight I think, depending on how I feel, but definitely tomorrow if not tonight. Going to add 5lbs to squat work sets

Thursday, 23rd June
It went surprisingly well yesterday. I was really tired and hadn't much sleep Wednesday night but had a banana and a bit of lucozade and was ready for action.
Bent-over BB rows:
135 x 10
155 x 8
200 x 6
205 x 3 (I nearly got 4, back getting stronger quickly)

Forward-grip weighted chins:
no warm-up set, had to share machine so rushed this a bit
45 x 5
55 x 4
Arms and back definitely tired after those BB rows.

Lat pulldowns:
2 sets on machine. As I got up from machine WALLOPED my head off the edge of the bar. I was so embarrassed I didn't even feel it. Amazing!

HH DB Curls:
45 x 7 x 2
35 x 8

A short but sweet workout. Going to go benching tonight and aiming for 220 x 4, and maybe then 225 x 3. CMON!

Didn't go as well as I had hoped.
Bench:
135 x 10
200 x 5
220 x 3 - failed on 4th rep. First 3 went easy but just DIED on that last rep. I know I can get 5 reps outta it but I just needed more rest I think. I'm GOING to nail that motherfucker this week. Going to bench earlier in the week this week, maybe on Wednesday. And by keeping sets to a minimum in bench and dips I might be able to do a hard work set again on Fri/Sat. We'll see...

Dips:
didn't bother with warm-up set, stuck for time today...
45 x 6
90 x 5

Tricep extensions:
30 x 7
35 x 6

Very short session. Gotta stay motivated. This week will be my hardest YET.
GOtta nail that 100kg bench for 5 reps.
 
I'm not strong enough at all, mate. Not strong enough. I weighed myself this morning, I ate feck all over the last two days but still up 3lbs. 188lbs this morning. That's a bit better. Gonna have to pig out more though to keep on target. Gaining weight is sooo hard. Seeing slight bit of flab around abs now.

I'm going to go squat tomorrow. I only did deads last week but no squatting. Going to TRY and fit in both of them this week. Leaving the deads for Friday I think. Going to aim for 355 x 5.
 
9 1/2 weeks

I only got 9 and a half weeks left until end of August. Not 9 1/2 months! WTF am I thinking? My current BW is 187~. Am I really going to gain 28lbs in 9 1/2 weeks without becoming a fat cunt? 28/9.5 = 2.9lb a week to gain. Blah! Doesn't seem realistic does it? If I get to 205 I'd probably be happy but gotta stay aiming for 215~. Better get eating I suppose!

Good luck and just eat clean and you'll do fine. :)
 
drop the weekend partying if you wanna make your goals. training all week then going and getting hammered is counter productive. its like taking a shower with a rain coat on. =0l

It's counter-productive alright but so hard to avoid. I'm gonna cut my beer down a lot and try to get to bed earlier from now on.

205 x 3 (had another 2 reps left in the tank at least but wanted to save myself for a heavy 210 set)
210 x 3 - good set, no cheating, nearly got a 4th rep - not going to go past 210 on rows until I can get a 5-6 rep

Weighted chins:
BW x 8
+45 x 5
+45 x 6

mililtary press:
90 x 10
130 x 8
155 x 3 (very poor set, lost balance lifting bar that ruined it)
145 x 7

lateral db flies:
35 x 8
45 x 7

db front raises:
35 x 8
45 x 7

My back has gotten stronger again. Happy with this session.
But I really need to consider cutting the partying. I wonder if I'd have lifted heavier if I hadn't been out Fri/Sat. It's obviously affecting my results.
