Thanks 69. I'm doing weighted situps on a decline bench holding a dumbell. I'll hold the dumbell under my chin and lean back like a situp and hold for 2-3 seconds then come back up for 3 sets of 15 reps. Today I used a 25lb dumbell but I had worked up to a 35 in the past.

yeah..that's what I thought when I saw them doing those. the people in our gym, the big ones, the ripped ones..always/overrate work their shoulders/traps/triceps. they were asking me to do the same. they are scaring me

close grip anything hurts my wrists like a motherfucker. the only thing i would sacrafice those for would be upright rows but i dont see any point in going close for shoulders. "trying to hit the muscles with as many angles as possible" ok shut the fuck up.
 
I'm still here, just taking a break. I pulled a muscle in my back a couple of weeks ago and it's been a tough one to get over. I trained chest today and didn't have any problems so i'm hoping it's healed. Probably gonna start a new log in 2-3 weeks. Thanks guys!!
 
injuries suck big guy, but when you bounce back its even better.

And go figure you learn alot about your body when you work around injuries.

Thanks niner, it's feeling better but i'm gonna take it easy on leg and back day for the next few weeks. LOL...i'm only at about 208-210 right now.

I'm fighting a pretty bad cold right now and probably shouldn't have gone yesterday but I did anyway:) Just got back from the doc and got a steroid shot and some antibiotics so hopefully i'll feel like hitting some heavy box squats tomorrow.

Went to the doc about six weeks ago for a physical and bloodwork and they weighed me at 206lbs, today I was 219 but he didn't say anything :druggie:
