I'm gonna hit back today. My left hip/lower back/leg has been acting up for a few days. I was laying off legs and back for a few days to let it heal up, and I think i'm ready to go. It's weird, when I'm sitting down and I lift my left leg straight out and pull my foot towards me with my shin, it pulls my lower left back and the side of my leg. It's not too painful, but it worries me.

My diet has been pure shit, I really need to get my act together. I'm shrinking and getting fat..LOL

damn sorry bro. do you think you could be out of alignment? do you ever go to chiropractor? i don't but it sounds like you could be out of alignment possible. just an idea. you obviously know best. glad you feel better and a smart move to take the time off.

it isn't easy keeping diet in check. maybe you will be better with the diet starting tomorrow or next week.

I actually just got back on track to day with chicken and rice at lunch:) Enough of this BS, it's time to get back to business.

nice work, try doing rack pulls or sld's on weeks you dont pull off the floor to save ur cns.

With the diet...hey life happens man...you will bounce back ..that is what we do
 
Nice workout, like what 69 suggest, maybe rack work might be a choice.

It's alright, everyone's diet gets outa whack once in awhile :) If anything, it does the body more good than bad.
 
agree with 69 and Winter...i would alter between racks and floor deads or even maybe sumo pulls and floor deads..seems to help me..

Thanks bro. Just trying to strengthen my hip flexors for heavy deads ans squat work to hopefully prevent any hip injuries.

Nice squats JT. If you think you're on the verge of injury, why don't you take it light for a few weeks.

I tried yoga for 2 weeks, that helped with my back pain. The first 2-3 sessions my back pain got worse, but after that a lot better. I quit cuz my instructor was just visiting, and went back to California.
