I pulled 405 off the floor today @193 conventional style, with just a belt and wrist straps. it went up pretty smoothly so i waited a while and tried 425. it wouldnt budge so i left it alone at 405. ill try it again in a few weeks.
I must say using westside techniques has really improved all my lifts. :)

now i need to work on my squat. i hope to be over 400 by the end of the year. its at mid 300's right now, i havent tested it in a while.

whats your squat routine look like.

send me a clip of a squat workset. you may have a simple adjustment to add lbs to your squat without getting stronger

right now my routine for legs looks like this.
on heavy day.
Ill work up to a 3RM with some form of squat. cambered bar is my favorite.
then either GHR 4x10 or SLDL 4x10 or lunges. then some calf work.

for DE. ill use 8-10 sets of 3 with 50-60% squat. I just started using light bands for these.
Then follow up with GHR or SLDL like above.

my form i think is good. just outside shoulder width stance. i sit back as much as I can and when I come up I try to lead with my head and chest. squuezing the hams and glutes. I say i think my form is good because ive never had pain or discomfort squatting and ive never gotten hurt, and I feel all the weighgt in my legs/hips not my back. I dont have a digital camera so i cant get a video clip to you. Ill have to look around for one to borrow

Nice work man. Gotta love setting a record for yourself. I hit 405 for 6 full reps squatting today at 198lbs. Ive been stronger but I was heavier and fatter hehe. I hope to get 500 by the end of the summer.

just out of curiosity, why dont anyone use metric system as well when telling `bout pr`s and stuff. Personally im from norway and i dont understand anything when reading about lbs and stuff. Gotta google it everytime :) Anyway, congrats with pr dude, keep it up
