Should I do a contest?

you look good man. youve been told by many that you should compete. i guess you wanted to hear a dozen more people tell ya. well, whatever makes you happy. youre very lean (leaner than me), but im not very impressed with your physique for bodybuilding. if anyone with a decent build and that works hard ask me that question, i would say yes. bro dont get me wrong, you look good. your hard work is evident. you have more of a gq or mens fitness physique which is NOT a bad thing jmo. keep up the good work.

I don't understand your point in saying that. What is he supposed to just close or delete the thread after 4 people tell him he should compete? He asked a question and people are responding. He can't help if people are still responding.

hey dawg with all do respect, i just say what i feel. its nothing wrong with getting encouragement. he wants more, he looks good and he'll get it. dude your acting like im hating. i dont hate on anyone but myself when it comes to bodybuilding. im just speaking my opinion. im not gonna dog a brotha but im just gonna give my opinion.

Looking huge man. Like what the majority of the people said, go compete! This is a big inspiration for me since I want to stay natty for well... hopefully forever and it really shows that it pays off big time. :)

Best of luck in the future.

Huh? Scratching my head on that comment. I could care less if anyone posted and never asked for more.

Hmm, confusing comment since i've been lifting for over 15 years but i'm cool with that if thats how you feel. What specifically is it that you think is lacking. Normally I run 200 - 210 lbs. Now i've cut down to 185. Do you not feel that conditioned guys 5'8" 185lbs are not BB types or what specifically do you look for to define a "physique for a bodybuilder". Are middleweights and light-heavys not BBrs or is it just my physique specifically that you have an issue with. Just want to understand your point.

I think his issue is that you don't look like Ronnie Coleman, therefore you are not very impressive for a bodybuilder... or something like that.

Anyway, you got my respect. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to build something like that naturally. Awesome job. Definitely enter the contest, and like someone else said, you could probably easily pick up some extra money with fitness modelling and things along those lines.

that is he is really natural ,seriously even with gear its hard to achieve this kind of muscle mass and definition and he looks 100% better than gear users ..so umm i dunno

I have never ever done any steroids - ever. But the fact that you think I may have is a complement for sure. So in that regard, thanks.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Ok i'm officially gonna do it - 11.5 weeks to go. Weight down to 183. BF probably 6-7%. Veins popping everywhere now. I'm keeping cals about maintenance (2K/day) and instead doing cardio 1-2 times daily along with the usual workouts. Like I said, I want to drop bf slowly to maintain as much muscle as I can. It's gonna be tough not to lose my muscle doing it natural, but i'm pretty set on doing it this way. I've come this far without it. Trying also to keep clean carbs moderate until the final 3-4 weeks. I figure 172-175 by contest.

I'll post precontest and contest pics when I can.
