The best Beauty secrets "must haves" thread

Hair - Bed Head After Party - takes the frizz out and makes my hair shine

Face -

wash - L'oreal - I don't know what it's called, it's green and for combination skin, cleans without overdrying

night - Avon clinical - better than botox b.c. there are no needles involved

day - Neutrogena Healty Skin spf 30 - I'm fair and I burn and I'm deathly afriad of skin cancer

Mascara - Revlon Lash Tint - lasts 3 days w/o smuding and makes lashes long, long, long

Lotion - Jergen's Smoothing Lotion - I only need to shave everyother day now :D

Lip Balm - I don't care as long as I have one everywhere I go, in my purse, car, desk, favorite jacket, cd case, bathroom, bedroom, you get the idea

That's it - I'm pretty low maintenence.

The absolute thing I could NOT live without is my EsteLauder or Clinic self tanner for the face. It's enough of a "tan" that I don't need to wear any make-up during the week.

That leads to my other "must-have"... the exfoliating gloves I use before applying the stuff.

For the most part I use what ever is around (terrible isn't it?) My mom is an AVON manager so she gets it all the demos free and other stuff so darn cheap so i use it!
BUT I do love my conair hair remover (it is painless and it makes my legs smoother than shaving!)
and body shop body butter- cocco butter

Hey anyone have really curly frizzy hair?!?!?! I use what ever it is i get my hands on but still have yet to find anything worthy enough of wearing my hair down... most i use john freida frizz eazz

Virgin olive oil on wet hands lightly applied to a wet face as a wonderful overnight softening moisturizer (seems to help emulsify blackheads away for me and I do not break out from this.. better than any brand cream/lotion I've tried).

Aubrey Organics' sea buckthorn oil cleanser and moisturizer (if you have dry skin)

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - the best exfoliant in the world, no scrubbing

Mystic Tan - will never use self-tanner again when I want a tan, will do the booth

If shampoo's too harsh for your hair - cheap way - use a cheapo conditioner *as* your shampoo, lather, rinse, repeat.. use a LOT and rinse out well.. result is silky hair. Expensive way: Komenuka Bijin shampoo - slippery result and no weird ingredients.

Neutrogena cloth moisturizing facial masks - these are awesome. Have vitamin C, etc, they're very 'wet' cloths you drape over your face for 15 minutes. It clears my pores and brightens my complexion.

...and finally... I *wonder* about DMSO.. would be careful w/this... and I was NOT using it to make any substances transdermal, etc... but tried a dab of this on a small area of less-than-tight, dry skin (after weight loss) and have never seen something change it so drastically... it kinda took up the slack... don't know if it lasted but might've... would be interested to hear whether anyone else has found that to be the case? It was really remarkable. But I think that's very powerful stuff and I'd be *really* careful with it.

My favorite beauty products are...
Cetaphil face lotion- no more breakouts plus spf15
Urban Decay body bronzer- awesome for before hitting the club, comes in flavors too!
My Chi flat iron- it is the best Ive ever used
Bain de Terre-straightening gel for hair
Joico- reconstructing foam for split ends
Neutrogena cream acne wash

Saw lots of neat stuff on here... Ill have to try some of that face stuff from GNC! I hate post-club skin ick!
