Thanks Luq. Yeah, it was fuckin brutal. I nearly fell foward while pushing the weight up on the last rep lol. Good thing I regained my balance and saved my face from hitting the mirror.

haha thanks bro. I used to go much heavier on squats for less reps, but I was going a bit above parallel on them. In attempts to get my legs bigger/stronger, I am going ass to grass for more reps as of right now.
 
i hear ya...i go atg and can't do as much as the other guys that load 3 and four plates on each side...but when they're legs are the same size as mine it must mean only getting a 45 degree bend in the legs isn't doing much for full development

hows the shoulder?
As far as injuries and pain go, if it hurts dont do it, and work around it, trust me ..a small injury can get worse if you are stuborn like i was in the past.

I have a tricky left shoulder and both elbows are a mess...happens every winter. And i always take msm and wear elbow sleeves. SO now i have to ice them after workouts and apply msm cream.
 
The shoulder feels okay, surprisingly. It just feels like I'm working it more than pain - muscle contraction feeling. After the workout, my shoulder was feeling fine, no pain, nothing.

I have also been doing rotator-cuff work to reinforce the shoulder a bit.

Thanks for your concern though, 69 - I will update on my shoulder every chestday.
