Anyway, I was wondering how many of you guys are from NY city and how your experiences of getting international gear have been over the years. I have heard rumors that it's basically 100% getting gear in if you live in that heavily populated area but I want to hear what the guys from there have to say.

Whatup man, im from upstate, but as for your gear are you talking about you yourself ordering it or finding someone around the area? if your ordering it you might want to reconsider and find someone who has a good reputation in the area and will have some good stuff..who knows whats coming over seas sometimes! but that might not be the case so ill let you respond lol

Not many problems ever, from anyone I know. Especially in Manhattan. City that's 34 square miles with a population of 8million people, theres a lot of mail every day chances of your package getting stopped is pretty slim. Its pretty hard to even raise suspicions with lots of deliveries like you could in a smaller areas being that the sheer volume of stuff coming from china every day to NYC is crazy. Where you moving from?

If you have the $ join equinox on 63rd and lex , but its gunna run you like 2700 for the first year. If you're going budget check out new York sports club on 86th and lex or 92nd and 3rd, and if you wanna spend bare minimum and deal with the crouds during rush hour, best spot in my opinion is boom fitness on 82nd and 3rd, they're 24 hours and by far the cheapest gym in the city at $30 a month. But they're DB's only go up to 110 ;/

As you can see, all successfully delivered, and within 1 business day. A simple answer to your question, if the gear is properly packaged and declared, it will fly through customs. Out of 100 shipments, approximately 3 will be detected by customs, and I believe those 3 are only detected because they dropped the package and it leaked. In that case, it is just as simple as reshipping it. That 3 percent rule seems to hold true no matter what country the gear is shipped to.
