can you really lower BF% and put on muscle at the same time?

lots of people have been telling me that on a test and Anavar (var) cycle and a caloric surplus you can put some good clean size on and lose bf at the same time is this true?

what would be realistsic gains on test 350 for 12 weeks and ana Anavar (var) 50mg ed for 7 weeks, would it be possible to add 15lbs of muscle and lose some bf at the same time too?

Maybe with lots of cardio. I have never been able to conquer that one. Everyone will tell you to eat like a mofo on cycle, The more calories the better the gain. Then at the end you have all this extra fat to contend with, and usually its around your mid section. I will not be eating like a pig on this cycle, 500 cals over maintenance and that is it.

Well if you want to get mathematical on it... if you gain muscles and keep the same amount of fat technically you have lowered your BF%

Absolutely. You can burn fat and build muscle at the same time. However bulking cutting works really good for most people. Because in most cases people are usually fat or skinny to begin with.
A fat person that is still trying to build muscle will have a tougher time with losing fat at the same time.

A skinny person will have trouble building muscle when he is not eating enough food to build muscle because he is on a low calorie fat burning diet.

I am not saying its impossible. Because I have done it before. But I like to focus on one thing at a time.

I think its very possible but also very hard. Many just pay attention to the scale and dont do tape measurements. They boast big gains because they tip the scale but also complain about huge losses after the cycle. Well if you eat big time while on ur cycle ur gonna get the most out of ur cycle but ur also gonna gain weight with or without the gear. Im loosing weight on my cycle now but putting on inches all in the right places, maybe not as much as I would if I ate like I should but I think the secret is this. Carbs suck, protein is a must. I use 2 diff proteins, whey and casein. Whey pre and post workout and casein morning and night. I try to keep a 24 hour supply of protein available for my body to use as needed. All my meals are low fat high protein foods,,mainly seafood and brussle sprouts, brocoli etc. I maintain around 1500 cals a day. I know most are reading and say I should be double or triple. Another secret is in the shakes, esecially whey,,dont beleive the hype with what the manufactures tell u. It can have a zillion grams of protein,,ur only gonna absorb what ur body can while its in a small portion of ur intestine,,so do this,,,buy a great quality isolate and a casein,,,mix them with 3 times the water,,,taste like shit but drink them throughout the day. You will absorb every bit of what your paying for and not sh&t the rest down the toilet. I still mix casein full strenght because its naturally slow absorbtion,,,but whey moves through like greased lightning so why drink 27 grams and only absorb 15, your intestines can only absorb about 10 grams per hour and it only spends about an hour and a half in that part that absorbs it. So in short, if your goal is to loose fat/weight and build bulk, you can, you wont get the most out of your gear, eat all proteins and get ur cabs from veggies that also have fiber and protein, work out like a beast,,drink shakes throughout the day and drink caseins at night and morning to keep a 24/7 supply of protein and aminos,,,also forgot,,,cardio pre and post workout, whatever u can handle,,helps my lifts too. Take measurments of the areas ur targeting, biceps, pecs whatever and dont forget the waist where ur wanting to trim. Its slow weight loss but ull gain mass as well...

although it is possible, i think you're better off dedicating your time to one or the other.... bulking for a while then cut. If you try to do both, you won't make as much gains in muscle as you could if you were bulking, and you wont get as lean as you could if you were cutting. Most of the pro's basically bulk then cut in cycles like that and it seems to work well for them!

This is what the pro's do for the most part, and there is a reason for that!

U are exactly right! Each person has each own needs though

15 lbs of lean muscle mass in 12 wks and lower bf% at the same time? and with that VERY mild amount of gear = IMPOSSIBLE... doesn't matter how u eat, train or rest, it's not gonna happen that way... sorry bro

Agree with China Wall. When you drop your bf% you will lose muscle.. I have cut 15lbs and lost 1 inch on upper arm alone.
