2-21-06 Chest/Shoulders

My split got rearranged b/c I missed back last week so I had to hit shoulders with chest. My triceps and shoulders were taxed by the time I got around to DB presses but I had a good pump going. I also added more ab work to increase my core strength.

good work jt. how do you like doing incline before bench?
 
Thanks tman. I like to alternate each week between flat and incline. I normally go to DB work after the compound excercise, but I wanted to hit some flat BB work today. It felt better than the DB's actually. Also, heavy incline work feels much better on my shoulders than flat.
 
2-23-06 Quads/Calves

I didn't feel great about my squats today, primarily due to the heavy deads earlier in the week. I'll be back on track next week :)

Yeah, they were burnin' big time. For some reason, leg presses feel like they put a lot of stress on my knees? Any ideas anyone?
 
good work jt. progress is funny sometimes. just go in there and kick it in the ass and it will move. the bar that is.

i don't enjoy lunges.

I dunno, I find them to be less stressful on my knees than squats. Are you locking out after every rep? If so, try not to.
