Today's workout: lower body strength
front squats 135 x6 185 x5 225 x6 275 x3 295 x3 315 x3 335 x3 (first time over 3 plates)
hanging leg raises bw x12 x12 x15
superset w/ calf press 300 x12 x15 x20
dips bw x15 x15 x15
superset w/ underhand grip pull ups bw x12 x12 x12

Keep in mind that these are not my final pics, I still have a ways to go before I call it quits with cutting. I'll let you guys know when I can get my hands on some more gear and then formulate my plan for a final cut. I think I'll go as low as 260-265 just to see how much fat I can get rid of. Also I am holding some water right now, as I haven't been using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), so I'll be interested to see what I look like with the water off.

however those calves??? they need a wee bit oh work to keep up with everything else. its said calves should be roughly same size as bi/tri area...upper body looks swole as shit though man. good job over all.

Adida, as far as calves go, I doubt they will ever look good, and I don't really care. Calves are the muscles that tend to be most influenced by genetics (as you see a lot of tiny guys walking around with big calves and a guy like me can walk around with small ones). I'm prettymuch stuck with the ones I have. As far as proportions go, I think they're about in inch under my arms.

Stiff leg deads: 135 x10 225 x8 315 x8 405 x12 (no belt woohoo!)
Db lunges 75's x16 x16 x18 (first set felt like my knees were breaking every rep)
crunch machine 3 sets x20
superset w/ calf sled 3 sets x8 x8 x12
db overhead tricep extension 75 x12 95 x12 120 x12
superset w/ hammer curls 60's x6 (per side) 70's x6 80's x6 - wrapped up my wrists for the heavy arm work and it really helped with pain.
 
your stiff leg deads are just fuckin insane. how'd i miss this? i know jacked dudes that can't pull 405x10 on conventional deads, me being one of them, lol.

I was pretty proud of myself today because I was extra careful with my form (trying to keep from re-injuring my back) and I still got through the reps. Are stiff leg deads lighter than regular deads for most people? Its been so long sice I deadlifted that I've forgotten.
 
Just seen this log now, great progress man, definitely looking big and strong. I agree with you on the calves man, most people see my calves and think I don't even do legs!

Man Of Muscle.......nice pics asshole. I've been keeping up with your journal. Calves are my weak spot too. Go get synthol.......j/k. But fantastic progress and some great lifts. U should consider doing some powerlifting comps.

Hey thanks for stopping by. Powerlifting I could definitely see in the future but to lift maximal loads I need to be over 300, probably more like 315. For now I want to focus on improving body composition which may take a while.

calf implants are big these days with males.
