PR! congrats winter.
Winter said:Thanks, but I still very weak on bench. It's discouraging because I used to be able to do 5reps of 265 easily.

No to the above posts I'm still hitting PRs on my deads, it's just my chest. I have been taking a bit of time off my legs because I recently hurt my right knee and it hurts all around, even right hammie hurts a bit. If the pain doesn't subside soon, I will go get it checked up.adidamp2 said:post cycle crash?
LOL
Only on my chest. My back is as strong as ever. Legs are okay too - they have gained a lot of mass.adidamps2 said:sounds like you are fallin apart bro. it may be time for you too "coast" while your lifting.
hahaAczech said:hey..you're still posting hot chicks as avatars..that should make the chest feel better..lol
shouldnt have been playing B-BallWinter said:Only on my chest. My back is as strong as ever. Legs are okay too - they have gained a lot of mass.
I hurt my knee when playing basketball. I went for a layup and when I landed, my feet slipped and landed dead on my knee. Fucking thing swelled up like a mellon.
Winter said:I was doing sets of 255+ to 275 ranging from reps between 5-2reps a set. I think I've just pounded my chest so much that I had to go lower on weight and cruise a bit. That's what I've been doing. I'm slowly making progress upwards again. The thing is, the size of my chest has gotten bigger, it's just the strength that has decreased.
lol yeah, I shouldn't be playin basketball in the first place - I'm horrible and I can't shoot for shit
The gym I go to is one of those fitness centers where they don't have boards and I probably won't be able to bring in boards.roccodart440 said:DOn't feel bad. Training needs to be cyclic. ALso adding in some other variations of the baench like boards and RLO's helps alot.
I used to do speed benching where I would vary my grip a lot and that helped for sometime.Aczech said:or just vary the grip alot..go superwide and work your way in
or maybe cut out the flat bench and work on your incline
