WTF a 4 year old BB?????

I agree with you 100% Mr P! that is criminal on the parents part to do this. Child exploitation is what it is.

As much as I may not agree with forcing this upon children, i have to say he has better form than a lot of guys I see at my gym.

You guy remember that "little hercules" documentary years back? When the little kid was doing shows at like age 8 and when they wanted to drug test the kid the dad said no. That is what this reminds me of. I would like to give that dad a good swift punch in the dick!

This brings up a good question though... At what age do you guys find it appropriate for a kid to start working out???

Pushups and pullups are fine at any age. I would say to start lifting weights 13 seems like a good age, only if they are interested in it though.

A form of child abuse for sure, this kid should be spending his free time running outside, climbing trees, playing with transformer toys, getting dirty & being a kid, he should not be spending his time doing this, What kind of parents would put their child through this ?
It's good to set a good example to your kids & show them the importance of excercise & healthy living, but this is just extreme, abusive & plainly stupid.

But then again, morbid childhood obesity is another form of child abuse IMO.

Just like the worlds strongest toddler but it's natural.

Liam Hoekstra, 3, has myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, which increases his muscle mass.
A young Roosevelt Park boy with a rare condition that gives him phenomenal strength will be the focus of a television documentary to be broadcast Wednesday on the TLC network.

Three-year-old Liam Hoekstra is one of only two people in the world with confirmed cases of myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy. The genetic condition causes above-average growth of skeletal muscles.

I remember seeing a documentary on this kid. He is so active the parents have to take him to the YMCA at 4am, then school, then gymnastics, then home then out for more swimming. The parents have to wake up early everyday because of their kid. He's a miracle kid, all natural.

This cannot be healthy on the long term development. I mean I doubt they are feeding him the nutrients to properly accomplish this as well. And its placing alot of wear and tear on the body far too early.

Athletic activity yes, get them to run around like mad men, jump over things, do push up contests, climb ropes...not weight train.

That's crazy, imagine if he works out like that his whole life, beast for sure.

That would suck if they're given him roids, he's be all messed up for life..

Well said Mrs.P

Yeah 4 year olds should not have to worry about how much they bench. Geezus.

And the age kids should start working out at is around 12...not heavy...but light weight high reps.

I know a lot of people say you shouldn't start lifting till you're 14? What if you play football? 14 = 8th grade...you are going to get killed in high school football.

But a 4 year old lifting weight is gross...some fat ass pedophile is getting off to his ripped body becaue his parents exploited him.
