Finally went to the doctor and completed bloodwork. He put me on 210mg/week of test cyp. for 10 weeks.
Also running 0.75mg Anastrozole 2 times per week.
He said we can talk about adding CJC-1295 once he sees how i progress on this first cycle, and/or increased Test stacked with Deca or the like, later.
First things first...
My first pin was Tuesday. I watched videos of IM injections about a thousand tiimes while waiting for the meds to arrive. The first pin went well, no pain after, injected in glutes.
WOW! What a boner I had when i woke up! Being 47 you learn to appreciate everything about this new venture. My wife didnt complain at all either. mmmm love this Stuff!

Supplements:
Pre workout shake mixed with Nu-tek Natures Fuel
Post workout Protein and BCAA mixed shake
Nu-tek Mass Complex
Fish oil
Cycle Support
Saw Palmetto
Milk Thistle
Multi-Vitamin

The hardest part of this is trying to shovel down enough food. I have never been a big eater. Now i eat at 6am/8am/10am/12pm/3pm/6pm/8pm. Protein goal is 300g per day. Drinking about 1.5 gallons of water each day. Going to the bathroom every 45 minutes.
I always thought the hardest part was in the gym but come to find out this nutrition thing is the hardest.

Wish me luck and I will keep my log updated through this 10 week cycle.:spin:

A doctor talked to you about research peptides and Deca? What kind of doctor is this?

I have taken both myself but no doc ever would talk to me about these things.

Sorry Irentat my bad. I am still learning a lot about this type of thing. I went to the doc to go over the bloodwork and your right he talks about CJC but wont prescribe it. He said he will only prescribe FDA approved. I am going to start a Sermorelin and GHRP-6 combo late next week. This will hopefully help with joint pain and connective tissue repair, among other anti aging issues. I forgot to ask him about Deca.
Anyone had any experience with this combo? I am going to start a six month (minimum) regime at 100mcg/day at bedtime.

Well my first week is over. I pinned my left glute last night. I have to say i am right handed and it was a little tricky but all went well. The doctor told me that once the test was injected to leave the needle in for 5 seconds, withdrawl quickly then hold slight pressure over the injection site for 60 seconds. Count slow- 60 seconds is a long time while doing this. This is my second pin
ever and have had no pain.
Still eating 6-7 times per day, averaging 3000 cals/day at an average of 44% carbs, 37% protein, 19% fat. I have only gained one pound so far. Maybe I should up the calories?? It's hard to eat so much (clean).
My workouts have been getting better each day. It seems my joint pain is diminishing a little just with the test. I get so sore the day after my workouts, but starting to heal quicker.

My Sermorelin/GHRP-6 arrived yesterday. You have to be careful when reconstituting the serum because the vial containing the powder is vacuum sealed and when you insert the needle with the 3ml of bacteriostatic water you have to have a good hold of the plunger and release the water in the vial very slowly. If you let go of the plunger it will all be sucked into the powder vial all at once, ruining the mix. Doc gave me this hint. I mention it here because i never saw this helpful hint anywhere else.
Anyway, i injected 100mcg of this combo into my stomach fat area, keeping away from 2" around the naval. I was actually amazed that it took a good bit of pressure to stick it in there. It stung a little, kind of like a bee sting for about five minutes. I had the stuff in the fridge so maybe it stung because it was cold?? It wasnt a big deal. I pinned about 10 minutes before going to bed, and slept like a baby for 6 hours (good for me). I woke up feeling really rested. I did watch not to eat carbs or fat one hour before/after pinning the combo.
I dont mean to ramble here but I would like others to understand what its like to go through this the first time. I am a newbie at this and seem unsure of many things associated with pinning. After searching many forums I chose this one because of the knowledge shared here and the people here want to help others out, not put them down becuase of some dumb mistake we probably all had made in the past.
I am happy with my results so far and expect big things in the upcoming weeks. I will keep you all posted!

I'm 40 and the best part for me besides the mass gain, is the libido increase. I fuck like I was 20, even better! Tell the ole lady to strap in for a few weeks :dance2:

RE: pinning -- I would say the leaving the needle in 60 seconds is a bit much. I leave it in about 10 seconds and after the syringe is empty and then withdraw. No issues with oil leakage, ever. You could just z-track the injection and not worry about leaking. The best advice I received about pinning was to go slowly with the injection. Doing so causes less injection site pain afterward because you're not disrupting as much tissue. Injecting quickly blasts the muscle at the injection site and causes unnecessary irritation.

From my own experience with Deca and GH inducing peptides, the results are Deca is great and acts quickly to relieve pain within weeks.

The GH peptides take longer to work to do healing. Both work but they use different pathways to the end result of healing.

Dude - great thread - thanks for posting. Nice to see someone else with a few years on your back. I did my 1st cycle at 47 too and wasn't as well informed as I could have been. Still worked well and i'm onto #5 now. I do find my knees are hurting like a mofo these days - may try that deca therapy when I finish the next cycle - we'll see. About the pinning - I like Epic's suggestion about z tracking. I just started that and it works great. Glutes are easy to pin (IMO) but so are the delts and triceps. Easy cause you can see the whole thing in the mirror.

Good luck bro - will be reading.

Lean-
Thanks for the support. I believe why my doc mentioned Deca is because of my joint pain, mostly in my shoulders. I chose the path of the Sermorelin/GHRP-6 because I wanted to see the effects of this combo not only in reference to my joint pain but to see how it will affect my other aging issues (ringing in the ears/Floaters in my eyes), neither which are bad but as I age I become very in tune to how my body reacts day to day. I went in for a hearing test yesterday to get an established baseline. Although my main focus is bodybuilding i would like to know all of the positive aspects of this treatment.

Pinning this combo every day is giving me much more confidence. It doesnt seem to be a big deal anymore. I just need to be patient. I want results right away, but realize that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is only a stepping stone to getting bigger. Hard work in the gym,the proper diet and rest is really the key. I love test!

Hey man glad to hear it is going well. You won't need to pin deca and cyp ed unless you want to - they both a have a long half life so ew or e3d is plenty. Plus IMO it's harder to be accurate w/ the dosing pinning ed cause the quantity is so small.

I'lll be interested to hear about your peptides - I'm going to start the same in about a month. It does suk about the aging shit - hearing, joints, etc. Oh well - no real alternative to that!

BTW have you been lifting consistently since HS? i took years 38-47 off and it was a beast getting back into shape.

Yea- I took a few years off at certain times in my life as well. When we started a family, when I started a new business and I also took off about 3 years when I studied Isshinryu Karate. All and all Bodybuilding is a part of my life. Its kind of like a vice. I have been steady at it now for about 5 years.
I am expecting great things in the next couple of months.
I hurt my lower back doing deadlifts last Friday. Not too bad, just pulled some muscles, but boy it really affects all of my other lifting routines. I may have to take a few days off to recuperate. :bawling:

My bloodwork showed my Total Test at 226 on a scale of 280-1100ng/dl. My Free Test was 3.0 on a scale of 0.95-13.5ng/dl. That is why he decided to put me on a low dose cycle of 210mg/wk. After 10 weeks we will see what the bloodwork results are and possibly go TRT. I know I feel 1000% better than i have in twenty years, so this may be a life long journey.

Well its been a while since i posted. This is the beginning of my fifth week. I am up 8.5 pounds and feeling great. My back injury took a toll on my training. I had to switch to lighter weights and higher reps to keep going. I figured I might as well try to lose some fat while recuperating. My back felt good today. This was leg day. I didnt push it with heavy weights but smoked my legs. Almost fell going down the stairs.
Pinning is going great- Sticking with alternating the glutes- No problems.
Chest day tomorrow. I am looking foward to this. It is the only area that wasnt affected by the back strain. The weights are going up tremendously. The only drawback is the shoulder pain that follows for days after, they burn like hell.
I am still injecting every night with the Sermorelin/GHRP-6 combo. I am radiating like a furnace at night. I am hoping it is burning fat away. I will get my BF tested next week.
I cant wait to get back on track. More to follow... :laugh4:

Are u pinning your test once a week?

Sounds good dude - i am glad to hear that the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) works for you. once you get that figured out, do you think you'll do a cycle? wHAT IS YOUR DOSING FOR THE gh/ghrp? Good luck w/ your back - do lots of stretching while you are between sets. I like to hang from the pullup bars to stretch out my back.
