That suks - Kane has some good advice there - don't let it get you down. The cycling is a great way to rehab the knee. Remember to ice afterwrds and take the anti inflammatory. I'd say rest a while then do machine squats and stuff like that instead of the real deal because you are less likely to injur it on a conrtrolled exercise. Massage is great for that too - try to get a script for it so the insurance pays for it (Phys therapy) Another great idea would be to soak in a mineral bath if you have a legit spa nearby (not one of those frou frou places where you get our nails done...) I took my sore knees recently to a mineral springs spa and after half day in the pool felt like they were regenerated.

And D... Wish I could give you some advice on the injury, but the only thing I can recommend is just taking it easy and making sure you don't injure it any further. I would have to assume that the tendons/ligaments in the knee are weak to allow for the knee cap to end up like that. Again, I'm no doctor, but that's what I would think.

i think, realy, you're pretty right!!! that's the reason i advised a pad to this. it could bring a serious help.
 
You guys have been really helpful with this. I would still like to take my d-bol but would like any negatives as why not to? I can't see how it would hurt really. I wouldn't be taking it along with the naproxen. For inflammation I am asking the doc tommorow for the ointments kane recommended.

As for knee wraps maybe some light leg press knee wrapped when the knee cap isn't solicit?
 
I went as far as buying the 5/3/1 program, and I'm pretty sure he only prescribes 3 working sets.

Week One is supposed to be:

65% of 1RM x 5
75% of 1RM x 5
85% of 1RM x 5 or more reps but 1 left in the tank

Also, the 1RM are actually 10% less than your actual 1RM. For example, if you bench 300lbs, your 1RM for this program would be 270 and your sets would be:

175 x 5
205 x 5
230 x 5 or more reps

Just something to think about...

From what I was reading it looked liked 3 sets 5 reps 70%, then 3 sets 5 reps 85%, 3 sets 5 reps 90%. Im kinda confused on this so it's just 3 sets period? That seems almost to low. Thanx for clearing up the 1RM milk I was confused on that too.
 
Theres probably n reason to even start the 5/3/1 since I can only do the big 2 lol. And still leary about DL's even though they were fine a few weeks ago, but who knows maybe that help attribute to the knee shift, im all fuckin confused at this point.

Yeah man, it's 3 sets... The idea is to try and break a record on the last set of every day. So the reps that you are supposed to do can be exceeded if you can do more. And the 1RM is lowered by 10% in order to make sure you don't plateau too quickly.

I'd cruise until you figured out the knee. Do a more "bodybuilding" like split for a while and be REALLY careful with the knee. Once you are cleared, then get back into the PLing, but make sure you don't push the knee too much.

Now that you are on a very healthy maintainence dose of Test, you shouldn't see any huge looses of size or strength.

Yes, he calls for 3 warm-up sets along with extensive stretching.

I don't see a problem with the D-Bol... Run it at a low dose and you should be fine. The extra weight you'll gain is the only thing I could see as a problem.
 
Sweet thanx for all you help again Milk. Im pissed I wont be trying the 5/3/1 it looks like one of the best out there. In all good time I quess. I might still incorprate it for military press PR's and Flat Bench PR's, will see. Im gonna have the Cali beach bum look for a while big top n no legs, lol.
 
Thursday Afternoon

Hit back today with more of a BBer style work-out since im nursing the knees. Decent day but not much to report on except I got a nice pump in my arms already day 3 of d-bol. It usually takes over a week for orals to kick in for me.

I have been using the diclfenac cream that Kane recommended. It's nice little pricy but seems to be helping after 3 days. I am also using a hot/cold pack(mullers). Best $8 purchase I ever made. It straps on like a knee wrap onto the sore sight real tight and penetrates the inflammation. The exercise bike helped today too. Any leg or back exercise will be 50-70% ME for now and won't be done much.

Rack Pulls in Smith-warmed up a little then 2 sets, 8x315 60% ME
Lat-Pulldowns-3 sets 10 reps
Two handle rows on row stack-3 sets 10-12 reps, kinda cool this way like rowing a boat
HS Pull-overs 2 sets 15 reps+
DB concentratin curls, still like them it's been a while

20 minutes on bike

Crunches 3x20

Not bad but a lot of exercises in one day. It's hard getting a pump not going full-steam with a solid compund movement. I might look into injections like cortisone to repair it. I wonder if deca, NPP would heal it too :)
 
Oh yeah it's been quite some time since I had d-bol but I don't remember this insaine hunger attack, lol

I have Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but since I am only running 250 a week should I wait to even see if shrinkage occurs? If so 250-350iu a week? Im only week and half in with the test.

200-250iu's 2x a week is what I would do...
 
Nothing to wild to report after 2 weeks enanthate 250mg's. Definitely sex drive is way better however so that works. D-bol is giving me headaches and no noticable gains after 1 week. It should start kicking in. I can feel the axio d-bol is probably legit but not the nap's they were sweet. Training is good. Wicked pumps in the tri's after JM PRess. They still seem to be the best and only tricep exercise for me. Knees are better but not my much. Sorry for the late reply.

JM PRESS-3 sets balls out.got the 25's/side 10 clean for 2 sets. Big improvement

DC Tricep Stretch. I needed this badly tri's were swole.

PEc Deck- 3 sets 20,18,15 wicked pump in chest. D-bol was good yeseterday at only 30mg's day for a week now like I said.

DC Physio ball stretch flat 30's held for 45 seconds Dont think Dante does this but I loved it. Shits unreal actually

Ab's 5 sets all 20. Core is really getting stronger. Finally seeing some form there too.

Test has got me sleeping way better. Ate 4 steaks everynight 16ounce ny strips. Really packs it on nice kail on the side with wild rice. Breakfast has been great lots of ground turkey fried in olive oil with 3-4 scrambled eggs. Oats and bannana. Lunches are usually chicken from grizzlys little local pit beef. Next week goals bench 265x5 clean. Hope to be at 295x3-5 before long. I started Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) today 500iu week. I ordered a nice inzer belt and knee wraps with some chalk should be here soon. Let me know what you think about Deadlifts this week take it easy just do rows or hit them? The knees could handle but not sure t try so soon.

Lol Thanx Lean but i usually don't get a chance to eat strips everynight I wish but I haven't hit that goldmind yet. I watched my folks pets and house for a few days and me madre always knows what to leave in the fridge, thats my payment, lol.

I dont know what to do about this d-bol with the headaches it's giving me. It's been a week and still getting these blitzing headaches. gonna give it 3 more days at 30mg and see whats up.

I take your recommendation on laying off Dl's today lean.

Thursday Evening

Didn't get a pump today. Hit Back ant was very low for normal strengh Feeling weak today kinda suprised this axio d-bol hasn't get in yet over a week. Low back discomfort with it and not sleeping well. The test should come intot the system soon.
probably gonna go ahead and get rid of the d-bolgive another day maybie. Suprisingly axio pills aren't so great this way. Their Winstrol (winny) came my chic headaches and aniexty too. High BP etc.. but no gains. Their oils aren't bad but not trying the orals again.

Started the day out light and strict. Tried straps today and I still can't seem to get them right.

BB Rows-4 light then 3 185,225,225 all done over 10 reps. My peak somehow was 315 + for 8 probably never get that again. I fell real weaks on these.

Underhand narrow grip pull down. Went light with high reps felt good. 3 sets

HS Pull over added a bit more today 45 and 35 a side high reps 15+

DC LAt stretch love these! Hpeefully be able to add a db soon. Fianlly leaning out a littel with all the bike high rep no waist exercises like dead/suquat. Hopefully be able to finally get down to 36 wast it's been stuck at 38 40.

Hero curls-3sets 50's

Biked for 20 and did abs.
 
Thinking of trying an diet like eggs/oats, tp sirloin baked with rice, fish and potatoe ,all with veggies and fruits daily like ive been doing. Prbably going to start eating a lt of nuts and granolas soon to. Eat avacadoes almst daily and take fish oil. with flax in the eggs this works nice.
 
even though this is a training log it might as well be a "how to "cuz i have learned alot from you and mikea going back and forth ,i read your posts and i get excited to try new things. good work man
