Haven't hit the gym since last Wed. I worked Sat and Sun mornings cutting wood to get ready for next winter. I tell you...chainsaw for 2 days straight if you want a killer back workout. I also split by hand for another back breaking workout.

Tue. 7-11-06

Hadn't been to the gym in almost a week so I did a full body routine and was all over the place. I don't remember the #'s but this, from what I remember, is what I did.

Squats
Sitting Calf Raises
Seated Low Rows
Wide Grip Pulldowns
DB Flat Bench
Lat Raises
DB curls
Tricep pressdowns
I did these in 2 sets of 10 reps where the last rep I was struggling but needed no assistance.

Been extremely lazy due to the heat and the fact that my gym doesn't seem to believe it AC. Man that saps the strength out of you when it's hot. I went last night and did a lower volume leg routine and then went on to shoulders only to have my left shoulder start shooting pain. Did some stretches and warmup sets which helped but I was frustrated so I cut it short and went swimming instead.

Squats - After some warmup sets - 315X10X3

Seated Calf Raises - 3 plates X25X3

Standing Calf Machine - 500(whole stack) X2X10

Good Mornings - 185X2X10

DB presses - 50X1 (ouch) stretched and came back and did 50X10X2 then called it quits.

Nice job. Yeah, it's been really hot around here too. It was 104 yesterday, but my gym is relatively cool; they have ceiling fans.

Your gym has a swimming pool? How much is the membership?

No...I have a swimming pool. The ceiling fans in my gym just push the hot air around. The power rack is in the lower level where there are no fans.
