Set aside 10% for charities & for people in need

10% would go towards a new truck

10-30% would go into the bank so I could live off the interest alone

I wouldn't immediately "pay off my bills"....I'd let the credit build up. I would have the money set aside to make sure the bills are taken care of.

PLEASURE, PLEASURE, PLEASURE is what the rest of it would be spent on. I am going TO FUCKING ENJOY THOSE DOLLA BILLS!

And I would give 10% to my family to help them with bills and/or let them buy whatever the hell they please

Federal tax is 25% and it depends on where you live but usually there is also state tax taken out as well...usually something like 7%.

In CA though, there is no state tax on lotto winnings :D

The cash option right now is 259 million:

$194,250,000.00 in CA after taxes
$176,120,000.00 in states that remove 7%

The above amounts are actually WHAT YOU TAKE HOME AFTER TAXES if you choose the lump sum option.

HOLY SHIT.

haha if he immediately bought tickets with his winnings it would be for something like a 25 million dollar jackpot since it would drop back down.

Considering the odds are about 1 in 176 million of winning, he'd definitely win.

The only problems are:
1. Someone else could win and they'd have to split the prize
2. It would only be for a 25 million dollar jackpot
