1. "variables of a 1st round draft pick". wtf are you talking about? Poliquin attributed 29 lean pounds gained in 4 weeks completely to fish oil. thats it. no change in diet. No drug on the planet can accomplish this. No combination of drugs can accomplish this. (Hint: Poliquin is lying).

thats probably the last time ill be able to post in this thread before it gets closed, buts thats fine because trying to have a discussion with you is utterly pointless because you do nothing but create logical fallacies, ignore valid points, bring up completely unrelated and invalid points, refuse all reason, and generally make an assclown out of yourself. Any slightly intelligent person could read through this thread and based simply on what has been said come to a logical stance on the topic, but have fun lying to yourself.

Ok poliquin did not say fish oil was the ENTIRE reason why he gained 29 lbs... a) a first round draft pick is likely EXTREMELY gifted genetically. you dont know what else he was taking or what he previously did. He could've never touched a weigh tin his life prior.

Secondly, all you do is quote studies,never REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE, and sit behind a keyboard saying how "smart" you are.

People like myself actually DO things. Whether it be in the gym or in the kitchen I put stuff into practice. Sure,I use some studies here and there but I actually DO.

Unlike yourself, who will go around the forums calling people idiots, quoting studies and well..... your avatar speaks for itself

Also, in other articles poliquin has reccommended just taking 15 g for a couple weeks than 5 grams from there on out.

And hold back on the personal attacks, skinny. got off yoru computer, stop reading studies, and go train.

OK guys... this EFA argument is really *fascinating*, but I consume AT LEAST 30 g of EFAs from whole food daily. Almonds, walnuts, nuts in general, Flax Seeds, Fish (the food, not the capsules), and egg yellows all have EFAs and frankly, I'm too broke to add anymore supplements to the daily regimen currently.

My prior experience also dictates it's not a miracle for me individually. I've taken 30 g of fish oils daily (in addition to the 30-50 in my whole food diet) for weeks on end and I didn't get much out of it personally. Not saying it doesn't work for some people, just saying food source is enough for me and my budget.

Thanks to every one that posted up other supplements for me to check out! I needed help branching out from the companies I know but I didn't want to waste my cash on experimenting with worthless crap.

Lyle worked with Dan Duchaine prior to his death and was pretty active in lowcarb and nutrition scene since the early '90's.

I also don't think the personal attacks are warranted. Sua is a good guy who knows his stuff. Poliquin, regardless of how 'batshit crazy' has some interesting ideas. And skar likes him some fish oil.

The satisfaction of knowing you don't have a deficit of fat calorie intake. You can also have a cookie and a small parade... but I'm not sure where you'll get them.
