My doctor is wondering why, he knows im trying to bulk and BB and taking supplements but doesnt know about the gear I take. should I tell him (he's cool) about gear so maybe it would make more sense ? or am I out of whack? Im the strongest I ever been in my life except when on cycle!

What do you want to do?

Lowering your cholesterol is probably one of the more useless things you can do, and given your other numbers, I can't believe that is your doctor's recommendation. Lowering your cholesterol is going to do about jack shit for anything.

I'm no expert at evaluating these numbers, but your glucose is pretty high.

Generally, the only thing you can really do to help those numbers is eat a low carb diet for a bit and add in some more exercise.

Eat only natural foods and do the Metabolic Diet. Add in some activities...it can be cardio or whatever...just be active. Very generally eat meat, leaves, and berries. Go for a banana post-workout and no dextrose or anything like that. This should help out your numbers tremendously. Just make sure you're getting your sleep and drinking plenty of filtered water.

so your saying my carbs are high, ok but how do bulk up with low carb diet, Im only 170lbs 5'8'' and shooting for 195lbs with next cycle soon of deca/eq. and why would lowering my cholesterol be worth jack shit isnt it high, I drink alot of whole milk with shakes you think whole milk is contributing to my high cholesterol ?

what could of made my tryglicerides sky rocket is it from bulking in general or could it have been the cycle I came off of test/eq/dbol ?

my guess why my cholesterol is high is from all the whole milk I drink so gonna switch to 2%, and I think my glucose (sugar) is high from the loads of sugar in weight gainers like ON serious mass but now I drink muscle milk I just double the scoops. Im tyring to BULK UP another 20-25lbs.

Switching to 2% milk is a waste of time. Your cholesterol levels are NOT high.

Yes, lots of sugar will mess up your triglycerides and blood glucose, so cut back on the weight gainers and all the sugar.

If you're concerned with the numbers do what I said in my first post. You can gain weight without weight gainers...just eat MORE food.

You should see a drop in the numbers just with getting rid of all the sugar. You don't HAVE to go low carb...just eat a decent amount of carbs from good sources (yams, brown rice, northern US fruits). This will improve your numbers. Going low carb will improve the numbers more, but will hinder your mass gains more than likely. It's up to you what you want.

but my HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) is low 34 it should be over 40 in fact my doctor says he would like to see it in the 70's because Im young 25yrs old. and my bad cholesterol is 167 and should be 130 or so according to the reference range, so what do ya mean when you say my cholesterol levels are not high ? by the way the only sugars I cosume are from whats in certain shakes thats it no candy or sweets cause I dont eat em, going to drink muscle milk instead of serious mass by ON for weight gainer from now on along with more food.
could gear raise your triglicerides ? also how do you raise fats in your body cause mine are low and Im trying to bulk, trying to find flax seed oil (liquid oil form) instead of capsules.

You said that your cholesterol levels are high, and they are not.

The sugar in shakes, especially weight gainers, is usually maltodextrin, which has a glycemic index HIGHER than glucose. Weight gainers have a shitload of sugar and are NOT good for you. They will definitely harm your blood numbers.

I don't know all the ways gear affects triglycerides.

If you want to increase bodyfat just eat more!

Use cod liver oil instead of flax oil.

then what are high #'s give an example cause my doctor says they are quite elevated.

If your cholesterol gets over 350, then there MIGHT be a concern, but until then there is nothing to worry about and no reason to lower your cholesterol.

Fasting glucose (assuming it was done properly) over 100 is pre-diabetes. Try to get it down to around 80.

Trigylcerides shouldn't be over 100. This is EASILY changed by cutting back on carbs, especially sugars. People with levels over 1000 can recover quickly assuming they follow a proper diet.

If you've been drinking weight gainer shakes, it shows in your bloodwork since you're pre-diabetes. Cut back on the carbs for a while and improve your insulin sensitivity and the rest of your numbers, and you'll come back gaining with a better muscle to fat ratio.

I asked the guy at GNC about drinking combos of shakes protein, weight gainers, creatine, and carb supplements if it could make you diabetic and he said it couldnt. he is pretty smart he uses gear and competed before, but now you got me nervous about being a pre-diabetic! but thats cause of the shakes I hope cause I dont eat candy and sweets maybe cake thats it. can I stick with just muscle milk for a weigh gainer not alot of sugar in it compared to others, I actually turn it into a weight gainer by doubling the scoops 4 instead of 2. and ON egg protein shakes, and whey.

The guy at GNC doesn't know what he's talking about. If you're drinking lots of weight gainers filled with maltodextrin, then you definitely can cause problems. Creatine and protein won't do it, though. Abusing carb supplements can absolutely cause insulin resistance and other problems. A weight gainer shake with 200g of maltodextrin is going to cause a massive insulin response.

What kind of foods do you eat? You don't have to eat candy or sweets to cause problems. Previous use of sugary weight gainers can cause problems, but it can be reversed if you stop using them.

Eating things like white bread, white rice, cream of rice, cream of wheat, hamburger and hotdog buns, breakfast cereals, muffins, pretzels, and many other things can lead to problems.

I eat a can of tuna out of can and PBand J on wheat bread for breakfast 9:00am. and a ON egg protein shake before that at 6:30am. then a muscle milk shake for lunch (4 scoops)12:00pm. a gordita from taca bell 3:30pm , then I train 5:00pm then creatine, and another muscle milk (2 scoops) 6:30pm. then a 8oz chicken breast with a salad 8:30pm , then later a hambuger on a bun (made on george forman grill)10:00 , then a can of salmon11:30 . then bed 12:30-1:00am.
thats my diet now but a few months ago it was different and thats probally why my results were the way they are cause it takes 3 months for your blood work to change. I need an acceptable meal plan to get to 5000cals a day and 300grms of protein for my next cyle of deca/eq my goal is to bulk up from 170lbs to 190-195lbs no abs just big pecs, delts and arms. 5'8'' 170lbs 11%bodyfat. 25yrs old will be my 3rd cycle. previous cycles were test/eq/dbol.

later, rook.

frosty....here is what Im eating, you asked what kinds of foods am I eating.

Sorry, I sorta meant that as a rhetorical question...just keep in mind what I had at the bottom of my last post and all the rest of the info.

can you hook me up with a meal plan to gain mass (15-20lbs) start off with 10lbs first show me exactly what and when to eat to gain natural and the rest I will put on during cycle by uping my intake of everything. during work I can eat 9:00am to 10:00am and again at 12:00am to 1:00am Im home by 3:30-4:00 after that its all fair game I train around 5:00pm.
thanks.
