VM's First Cycle

great log. Im starting a very similar cycle in January. Im doing 400mg test c and 40mg dbol. We are also similar in size (starting weight, 235). I dont know what Ill do if i get up around 260, hard to play that off as natural. regardless, keep it up youre looking huge.
 
Great log man. You are a big dude. At 44 days you should really see some results over the next 4-6 weeks. If you are still making gains in strength I don't see any need to checge things just yet. At the same time, more food equals bigger gains so increase as you please.

I try to stage increases by weeks. 1-4, 4-8, 8-12 etc bumping by 500 each. So if you started at 4000 (you are a big guy) then 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000. You may need more or less than that. That's pretty generic but I figure if you are looking for size, more cals will be needed as you go.

I agree. Your increase by blocks of weeks is pretty much where I'm falling into for calorie increases. I think the most important things I'm learning from this cycle are how my body reacts to these compounds. I almost forgot that growth isn't linear even with steroids. It's such an accelerated process that I'm still getting used to. And thanks for the compliments.

Thanks Solid. I just took a look at your log. You have a good starting foundation. At 6'3" I think you'll look massive at 260 but not to the point it doesn't suit your frame. I like watching other people in good shape take their physique to the next level and achieve their goals so I'll be on the lookout for this one too. As far as hiding it.... well if your receptors respond as well as mine have be ready for an interrogation lol.
 
Day 45

Moved up on bench, calf press, and a 10lb jump on rows today. I do my rows with one knee on a bench with little to no body english so this is a huge increase for me.

My weight is now around 260-262lbs. I had thought about marking a weight that I would stop at, but I've never experienced PCT before and I don't know how much I could lose even if everything goes according to plan. I want to also mention that my testicles have not atrophied which initially scared me that my gear was fake. However, with the results I've seen so far this cannot be the case even without the blood work in front of me. I've had a couple whiteheads flare up again, but that's about it so far.

Well Depending on your genetics It is typical (for me at least) to lose 25-30% of your weight gain.

For me I gained 28 lbs on a 500 mg per wk test only cycle 14 wks. I did hgh throughout and did nolva/clomid PCT with an Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) blast. 5 wks after pct I was still up 21 lbs from my Baseline start point. If you have good genetics and no problems this is very doable.

Do not work out too much during post cycle therapy (pct). just do normal workouts until you recover from post cycle therapy (pct). If you do not you will regret it..Remember it is recovery time when you get to PCT so treat your body accordingly, lots of sleep, good food, and dont over work yourself.

I'd be happy getting up around 260 during my cyle as long as I was able to maintain my weight around 250 or so after post cycle. I want to keep the fat down so putting on that much weight could be a challenge. I'm just going to have to eat, eat, eat and that's all there is to it.

I'll get the interrogation when I go back and see my family for Easter. They likely won't see me again after Xmas until then...I'll just try to wear baggy clothes and avoid the topic of working out.
 
Day 44

I didn't get much sleep because one of my lady friends called me for a booty call which lasted all night and pretty much ruined my results in the gym today. The numbers are more or less the same as last week. Gotta remember to set my phone to alarm only at night.

You gotta answer the booty call! Can't deprive yourself of all pleasures! haha

You're trying to get me killed lol. I don't have a workout partner and I don't trust spotters. That's interesting though...I've only done negatives as a means to get my body used to higher weight when I was doing powerlifting/strongman. With higher recovery from AAS I guess it makes sense to try it, but for now I'm going to try and stick to this routine as best I can.

I am recovering from a hernia surgery so did chest 2 days ago with pussy weights - but stuck to the 4 sec negative and my chest was screaming today - and I can boast that I benched 135! hahahaha - you dont need the heavy weight to do it, just concentration. The key is to push on the way down and resist the temptation to drop the weight as that releases the tension. Plus - no lockouts at the top - constant tension. Try it just one day and see what you think...

and yes people look at me and think" he's a big guy - what's up with the pussy weight?" I can see it in their eyes - LOL

Damn sorry to hear about the hernia. How did that happen? All my weight is baby weight lol. I think negatives would work better on a split routine since you only hit the muscle group once a week. I think if I tried them on this program I wouldn't be able to recover. As it is I'm pretty burned out usually.

I was thinking about dropping down to 3 or 4 days a week workouts in post cycle therapy (pct). Do you remember how much strength you lost as well? Also, was the majority of your weight loss water weight?

I've been telling people that I'm a vegetarian with the straightest face I can make. Try it. I guarantee you'll see the most dumbfounded faces hahah

It's tough man. I hit on a 45 yr old today in decent shape when I was christmas shopping. Then when she told me she was married I hit on her daughter lol. My sex drive is like when I was 16.
 
Day 46

Officially done with the leg curl machine. I'm thinking about what to substitute in for them. I can't do stiff legged deadlifts which was usually my go-to hammy exercise. I just realized this gym doesn't have a glute ham raise machine. I'm thinking about somehow doing upside down hanging glute ham raises from a pullup bar.

I had a slight increase on seated presses and did a slow tempo again on dips. Hanging pikes are still tough but do-able.

Edit: forgot to mention shot my right glute this day. No problems.
