VM's First Cycle

Day 39

Pinned my left quad with the 25 gauge. After I aspirated it took a lot longer for the oil to go in compared to 23 gauge. I know the needle is smaller, but it was faster on delts which is why I was a little confused.

I hit the top weight on the leg curl machine but I'm going to go another week and get it for all 3 sets before I change to something else.

My forearms were feeling incredibly strong today on hanging pikes. I still have the captains of crush handgrippers so I might incorporate a couple sets of them at night or something.

I moved up in weight but barely got the dumbbells up to my shoulders on overhead presses. I was very close to dropping them and causing a scene. Maybe it would be easier if I stood up, powercleaned them to my shoulders and sat down?

I kept the dips at bodyweight with a slow tempo so I wouldn't hurt myself. I feel like such an old man... just have a mental list of exercises I can't do anymore.

Workout

Leg curls
Hanging pikes
DB seated presses
Dips

This is what I do when I go heavier on DB shoulder press...just have to make sure you don't miss the bench when you're sitting down (yes I've done this!!!) :D

As requested...I'm definitely very far from where I want to be. I don't really feel comfortable asking someone to take a pic of me so sorry about the poses.

Dude you're huge, I wouldn't ever wear a shirt let alone be worried about having someone take a picture of me lol

Lol thanks but that's not really my style. I started off as a really fat kid before I got into weights so I'm still somewhat reserved.

Day 40

Went up on everything today. My weight has been hovering around 257-260lbs for about 2 weeks now but the weight in the gym has been going up so I guess I need to bump up the calories again if I want to gain more weight. I'm not sure if I should if the weight in the gym is moving up though. Any opinions guys?

Workout

Lat pulldowns
BB incline
Seated calf raises
EZ bar curls

hahah there's no way to play that off. That's okay, the first time I learned how much weight an olympic bar can hold on one side was when I hit 315 on squats. I took off all 3 plates on one side and the barbell came crashing over the squat rack so everyone could hear.

oh shit lol perfect vision playing in my head of this scene

Day 41

I did slightly better on seated presses but only for better reps, not weight increase. My forearms were starting to act up on close-grip so the last 2 sets I just dropped to a comfortable 225. It's frustrating knowing I can push more, but my body is telling me be careful. I have no reference point on hack sleds this week.

Workout

BB seated press
Ab wheel on toes
Close-grip decline
Sled hack squat

Day 42

Day of rest from the gym. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll throwing up bigger numbers again. I'm halfway done with the testosterone now.

Great log bro. If you feel u are not making progress try doing 4 sec negatives on your reps. That's tough as hell and will really burn the muscle.

Day 43

I pinned my right quad today. I know I hit a nerve because it was localized radiating pain. I aspirated and there was no blood, and decided to pull out and try another spot on my quad. The second time there was no pain. I'm thinking about trying out the pecs but I might just stay with glutes and delts from now on.

I moved up on everything today with a questionable increase on inclines. It's hard to tell about barbell incline because I took the weight I peaked on last week as my weight for all 3 sets today, but the last 2 sets I got 10 reps instead of the full 12. At this point I'm just glad my numbers are rolling again. When in doubt, eat an animal.

Lat Pulldowns
BB incline
EZ bar curls
Seated calf raises

You're trying to get me killed lol. I don't have a workout partner and I don't trust spotters. That's interesting though...I've only done negatives as a means to get my body used to higher weight when I was doing powerlifting/strongman. With higher recovery from AAS I guess it makes sense to try it, but for now I'm going to try and stick to this routine as best I can.

Day 44

I didn't get much sleep because one of my lady friends called me for a booty call which lasted all night and pretty much ruined my results in the gym today. The numbers are more or less the same as last week. Gotta remember to set my phone to alarm only at night.

Workout

BB seated presses
Close-grip decline
Sled hack squat
Ab wheel

Great log man. You are a big dude. At 44 days you should really see some results over the next 4-6 weeks. If you are still making gains in strength I don't see any need to checge things just yet. At the same time, more food equals bigger gains so increase as you please.

I try to stage increases by weeks. 1-4, 4-8, 8-12 etc bumping by 500 each. So if you started at 4000 (you are a big guy) then 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000. You may need more or less than that. That's pretty generic but I figure if you are looking for size, more cals will be needed as you go.

Sorry for the off topic, but would you mind PMing me that work out you mentioned in OP? I would have PMed you, but I can't :/.
