Who's on doctor prescribed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) ?

1) 49

2) 9 yrs

3) 100mg once wkly (cyp)

4) Andopause, yes we experience "the change in life" too. My endrocrinologist said that my below normal levels had nothing to do with my past use of steroids and everything to do with nature. I'll be on it the rest of my life (fine with me). He stated that there will be no health probs with long term use and that the negative press on steroid use is a load of crap....."you would have to abuse one hell of a lot it for a long time to suffer any negative effects".

1. 46 yrs old

2. 3 yrs

3. 100 mg/week (cyp)

4. no previous cycle history. As somebody else stated previously, my HRT is also based on numerous blood tests to determine dosage.

Now, I have an off-track question regarding HRT....I like to donate blood as often as possible. Ever since I started HRT, many people have commented on my iron-rich blood and my slightly elevated RBC. Anybody have any experience with this? If the mods want, I can start another thread on this subjuect so as to not hi-jack this one, but I am curious about this.

Thanks.

never had trouble giveing blood while on JUST hrt . in theory the blood levels of test are at a natural level and it shouldnt matter . maybe large amounts of red meat are affecting rbc count , not sure.

I read your guys posts on your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses. Everyone on it here ive also been reading about your cycles that are usually pretty heavy. What does your endocronologist say about your T-levels when their sky high. Also doesn't cycling kinda defeat and interfere with trt. I mean why even bother with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Or do you guys basically testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in between cycles? Just curious.

Would never get blood work done when on cycle, plus after you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and stabalized most doctors never follow up with blood work for test levels, they just keep writing scripts.

Cycling doesn't interfere with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) any more than someone who's not on it.

TRT is used to maintain somewhat normal testosterone levels. Whether we choose to run cycles has nothing to do with being on TRT. You're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life, and therefore just cycle like everyone else, only difference is we don't need to run PCT, we just go back on normal testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses,

my brother of 41 was diagnosed with RA...he's gonna die and feels like shit..so i sent him a shitload of enanthate and he started last week at 400 wk.

i'm like a doctor now?

cool

were all gonna die...might as well die with a boner and fighting the good fight

Here is my question on the subject. Im 28, never done testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and last time I used gear I was 17. I took a full panel in April Test was 331, free i cant remember. in Sept. Test is now 241. I have been going through some major up and downs, and well my Libido is pretty much non-existant. Cialis=nothing, Viagra= Nothing, when I was lifting and I took PlasmaJet, I also didn't get a response. Now would I be a likely candidate for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? I am going to see a Urologist on 11/11, and thats my latest news thus far!

I know my levels are low by the way I constantly feel fatigued and weak. I have to get checked though. Does the gel or patch work as well as injections?

I read somewhere where your body basically absorbs and disposes of about the same amounts if you are comparing 200mg of cyp per week or 10g of gel per day. because obviously your body doesnt use all 200mg or all 10g. not sure if thats clear but i think yoiu get the picture. basically any injections over 200mg per week would be more than two andro gel packs per day.

36 years old
5 years
2 / 5g packs of androgel per day

had used a few cycles around age 21 - 23 with no post cycle therapy (pct) and was diagnosed with low test when i was 31 so im not sure i think im just low period

38
1 yr
androgel pak daily (sucks)

OK i had problems when i was 22....endo tested me and test was 220. Told i was too young for test treatment. So i self medicated for years when i could find legit Test. Last year test levels were 140. Now on TRT.

Here is the deal. Doc gives me gel (its not very good) so i take injections once weekly and in between use the gel. I feel it helps keep levels even and Docs should use the same protocall.

find a doc that will prescribe the injects instead of the gel.

there is a danger when useing the gel that body contact can rub some off onto your kids or wife/girlfriend . there was 1 case a few years ago of a boy who supposedlly started growing pubic hair and showed signs of puberty as a infant and the gel that the father used was blamed for it.

Actually, there was even a HOUSE episode where the dad used cream and it caused his son's test levels to sky rocket causing him health problems. I know it is a TV show but was based probaly on something that really happened.

i didnt know about the house show but i bet you are right about being based on the real deal . i remember the pic of the guy and his son . the guy was pretty big lol.

I'm 23

Im not actually with a prescription.
But the doctor recommended that I start attending the 'testosterone clinic' where you go weekly for your shot because my test levels were so low. Maybe a combination of previous cycling and using opiates were the cause.
Instead I started ordering my own and injecting myself.
I change dosages. been using about 600mg weekly for the last 3 months. always atleast 200mg weekly though.

I don't understand why you need blood tests to determine dosage.
injecting the hormones are going to stop you from producing your own anyways
