Pre-Contest Cycle

thats a lot bigger than the average guy that works out. a lot bigger than a lot of bbers out there. burlyman said he competed as a lightweight. i think for a 21 yr old doing his first show, competing at over 185 is pretty good. thats a good size dude. of course there r bigger, there is cutler big and everything in between. how big r u cheppallet? how r u so experienced on this topic? how many shows have u done? fyi, ur annoying me again.

as far as the gear for the show, ive been talking to big ass dudes at my gym that do shows. i think a guy who is a seasoned bodybuilder, 5'8" 260lbs knows what he's talking about. he told me to start adex 2 weeks out at 1mg/ed.

and i personally like high e2 on cycle, makes my joints feel better. only reason Winstrol (winny), mast, and the others r associated with joint pain is not lack of water in the joints, its lack of estrogen. high estrogen and progesterone increases the bodys anti-inflammatory. u lower e2, and the anti-inflamatory whatever in ur body goes down and u get sorer joints. i dont hold much water and sex drive is high, so why would i worry about my estrogen? unless its causeing problems, im not gonna try to fix it.

thats my opinion from my studies anyways so thats what i like to do.

I personally would have tried to get the e2 down a little sooner, but only with the main goal of helping me lose bodyfat.

Again, no one on stage asks you your E2 levels. lol. How you look is all that matters when it's time for the lineup.

i'm annoying you again? What are you 7? Don't take someone on the internet trying to keep your ego in check for when you fail personally. I've seen a ton of little young guys like you think too highly of themselves because some guys on the internet filled their head with nothing but positive stuff and when they lose, they can't be honest with themselves and end up blaming it on things like comp politics or stupid judges. Seriously. I'm annoying you. Oh no. better watch out. Again, i'm being honest and trying to help you. Stop being a baby.

Oh, and i have done 3 shows. Two state shows and 1 local as my first. Took 3rd in novice in the first one. 2nd in the open HW in the second one, and before my accident last year, i was set to do a state show in the Midwest and was 238lbs @ ~6-7%BF 3 days out. Which means nothing because people who tout how big they are on message boards are usually either lying or looking for someone to impress. But since you asked I told you.

Sorry, but if your trainer is that size... he's not natural. And if you believe him... you're naive.

what studies have you read that say high estrogen levels are a good thing. i agree that water is good for joint pain and anti-inflammatory value, but you can achieve that without having a E2 screen of 81. That is too high and their are plenty of silent things that can go on in the background. But as i said, and as burlyman said above (who you didn't get all bitchy with), i was mainly telling you that AGAIN to help you, as you are really close to your show day and you need to get that in check soon to make sure you don't have anything happen to screw up all your work thus far.

You really have a tough time taking criticism. Probably because your so young and think you're huge, which is understandable. But its not the attitude you want if you ever expect to do well in this industry.

Also everyone has to start somewhere & have a first time so hold yr head high keep it up & there is always room for improvement the next comp, also when u browned & tanned u will look way much better anyway!!

Hey bro, sorry I've been insanely busy. This show has me stressed lol, im trying to keep it under control tho. And I just started a new job as a personal trainer and im not making any money cause no clients yet. So just really busy.

Quick updates, first, pictures look shitty for some reason so im not gonna bother putting them up. After the show I will definately put pictures up and let u know how I did.

I just ran out of mast, so im stopping that a few days early. Shouldn't be a big deal this close to the show. Ill just up my tren slightly.

Im taking 1mg ed of arimidex up till the show.

Everything is going well, im looking good and right on track. Got my posing routine down. I just cant wait to get this show done lol. I wanna eat again!

This diet is absolutely brutal. No joke. Its fucking tough. Im getting crabby as hell. But I've been sticking to it, besides cheating with a little extra peanut butter here and there. Im cutting that out tho. My trainer said I even have to cut out all my condiments. No mustard, no calorie free bbq sauce. Nothing. Dry chicken breasts all day.

I've been 200lbs for over a week, but this morning I was 196 so hopefully im doing something right. I look more cut. I just gotta go hard for another 10 days. And this diet is not getting easier as it gets closer to the show. Its honestly still getting harder every day. I can do it tho. My gf is supporting me big time so that helps. Shes making sure I stay on track.

So like I said, im really busy right now, so im not sure if ill post much more till after the show, june 4th. But ill definately put up pics from the show and let u guys know how I did and how the whole experience was. Im excited.
 
Hey juice just curious as if you could post us your diet? Im really interested in what a competitor like you eats during your cutting phase would be really neat if you shared it it with us :)
 
Dude - You are smart not to post pics now. You are on track and don't need any more shit from us! LOL Keep it going, stay focused and you will do some serious damage at the show! And keep that pic of Jay on the PB! Post Phil on your chicken breasts - it will pump up your delts! hahahaha

A pro natural bodybuilder is doing my diet. my diet has for the most part been the same throughout the diet, besides the last week he has me changing stuff up. But its pretty much no more than 70g good fats, and about 300-350 protein every day. My carbs r cycling between 250 and 100g over 5 days.

look good? I'll also be popping t-bomb (tribulus based test booster) every day for probably 2 months.

my last full shot was today (1 week before the show), and then im doing a shot on monday of probably 30-40 tren (im running out), and maybe 50mg of test prop. i have plenty of prop but figured i would go low with that last dose just to make sure i dont hold extra water.

so does the pct look like it will do the job? I'll start it on sunday, the day after the show.

Yep, that should be good for post cycle therapy (pct). Would be good to have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand just in case you run into estro problems on post cycle therapy (pct). A suicide inhibitor like aromasin/exemestane would be best. I personally would add D-Aspartic acid during torem and for 4 weeks after, based on your cycle.

hey guys, i had a blast!! I was super nervous before stepping on stage, but then it was just a ton of excitement and adrenaline. Awesome time.

I think i looked good and comparable to the other guys I was competing against which is damn good because the other guys have been competing for many many years. So needless to say, it was a tough class. But the guys were super cool and I had an awesome time, so it was a great weekend.

i have been eating non stop since the show.

here are a few pics, a couple of just me and then 1 of the class of 6. i placed 5th.

You looked really great for your first contest, bud. You appeared to have had the experience of several contests, thanks to your trainer who prepped you very well.

The other guys in your class were massive, which hurt your placing. Next time you compete, you'll either be at the top of this class and ripped, or you'll move up a weight class. But if you were 198 and shredded, you would look very very big. You were very lean, but not totally shredded, so there's about 4 lbs of either fat or fluid manipulation that you'll have to deal with to get to the "shredded" stage.

What did you end up weighing in at?

By the way, you are correct when you said you had a tough class. Was this the open class or the novice class? Had to be open, right?
