First off, some of problem we're having in this country it's part our fault,
we hire these illegals to take care of our lawn build our houses, do hadywork and take care of our kids.

I've heard that some politicians that are against these illegals have in their homes illegals working for them.
Why do we do this??? cheap labor,
example I need a helper to build play house, and I need to complete my wife's to do list, I go to home depot & you see at least 40 illegals outside in the parking lot waiting to get picked up by people that are willing to pay them for cheap labor.

I see this happen day in and day out, If we didn't hire any of them, they would realize that they can't find work anywhere & probably won't keep crossing over.
I'm n ot sure about this, but I believe that you can apply for Welfare even if you don't have a SS #, I would change that as well, no more foodstamps, no more welfare.

Plain and simple, wake up Americans !! lets put our soldiers to work protecting our borders and let start taking resposability and not hire non tax payers to do our work.

Being the daughter of immigrants my parents came here (legally) & worked their asses off,
taught us what hard work was, & how much they loved this country & how greatful they were, no handouts, no demands.

We've been to Mexico on vacation & they have a rich culture & very welcoming people.
Not saying all are the same.
I'm sure some do come wanting to work & looking for a better life to offer their families.
The problem is the House is full, is like not having enough food to feed your children & wanting to feed the whole neighborhood.

We have to help our citizens first, & try to fix some of the many problems are economy and society is facing. Like P said lots of people hire them to do housework, raise their children....
C'mon raise your own children !!! Stop being lazy, clean your own house, some of the problems our society has today, people are too spolied.

But to say that they should be shot, I don't agree with that, these are human beings we're talking about, yes, they are a problem & yes, we have to fix it somehow, but how

I agree, Latin culture is a beautiful one...very gracious and hospitable..Spain all my SAmerican visits and my cuban gf in Miami were wonderful experiences.....

I usd to hook em up..turn em over to INS and they lingered in jail on our dime for months if not years waiting for deportation..

But let's not forget the other millions the one's that are popping the kids here illegally, Those u.s citizen kids a lot of them are serving our country, Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce, even Border patrol, & they are as loyal as any other American.

Why the sense of entitlement from today's immigrants? What happened to respecting the country that you are coming to and learning and obeying the laws? How about learning the language of the country that you are immigrating to? I know so many old timers that came here and worked there asses off to provide for their families, but they loved it because it was a better living then they would have had. You would have a hard time finding an old Irish or Italian guy that came over trying to live off the government's dime..they just sucked it up and did what they had too.
I don't even think that this is so much racial as it is generational, my grandparents generation wouldn't have put up with it. I think the boomer generation with all the hippies and liberals that were coddled as children are turning a once proud and strong America into a nation of whiners. There are far too many people who don't feel that they have to do anything on their own.
I have nothing but respect for someone who comes here and goes through the process and does there part to contribute back to the country. That is what made our country great, not the kind of things that we are allowing now.

Well My mother is an immigrant she imagrated to marry my father. They had met is Paris and decided to get married. She didn't sneak in by dark of night. She has become a citizen she respects the laws of the country and customs of our Country.
Now I have a friend who had 2 children she was a divorced Mexican single mother. Her parents were living legally her in the US. She sent her kids to live with her parents and took a job working as a nanny on the other side of the country. She was illegal she was working to support her children so they could have a better life. She did this for 5 years then she married a Doctor. The only taxes she paid were taxes on consumed goods. She isn't the norm of illegal immigrants.

I'm a father and I understand the need to give your children the best chance for success in life possible. But don't come at me with the attitude of entitlement. THe US can't afford to support everyone. An unhealthy US economy is bad for humanity.

It's time for them to stay home and fix there own countries.

Profiling is not some racist thing...its the use of statistics to generate a personal judgement in situation to watch out for your best interest....

IF people's races are getting "wrongly profiled' my opinion has always been what are they doing to change it? The current belief is profiling is "wrong" when in reality thats not the issue. The issue is profiling exists because a group has "earned" a reputation, its not given its earned through actions.

It used to be if you were from France visiting another nation YOU represented France and the French People! Sort of an ambassador. Every one of every race, culture, nation is an ambassador. If you dont like how your people are viewed...stop restricting peoples views and freedom of opinion and start changing how your people act.

No reason to go any deeper into the subject, but if you want to be viewed differently then make it so by behaving differently and encouraging others to do the same. This goes for white, black, hispanic, asian, etc. Rich, poor, smart or not, and so on and so forth.
