i realize this is the wrong forum, but for those that know me on here & give a shit..

i'm posting here because those of you that are my homies around here became so on this forum, and are more likely to see this.

for those that give a shit i'm fine. just made it home for the first time in a couple of days. i'm finishing up getting a team together to help with rescue efforts we should be heading out tomorrow evening. trying to procure a chopper, that part might not work out. we're a pretty diverse but well-equipped bunch.

rj, hope you are tearing up/tore up your mud run. this trek should be its own kind of tough. love it though.

will be around from my iphone some.

later fruity asses,

more quakes hitting today. around 6's on the scale. nuclear meltdown at a plant a few hours away. shits like a fuck'n doomsday blockbuster over here no joke.

Damn EZ, glad to see you are alright. Ive been watching it on the news and the shit is intense. I can only imagine how it is being smack dab in the middle of it. Stay safe man!!

thanks everybody, appreciate it. we got my boys that were up there back. we managed to help a couple of dozen people that needed it get evacuated, and we made it back safely in spite of a few earthquakes, new tsunamis and a few close calls. it was pretty horrific out there though. compared to some of the other mayhem and destruction i have seen, this being the first time seeing it up close and personal at the hands of a natural disaster instead of man on man aggression, this was way more intense for me.

tokyo is in a weird panic/business as usual mode. people are walking/bussing/training amidst power outtages for 3hours, as much as 8 hours in some cases, to get to work. something you just wouldn't see in a lot of places. but people are lining up for 2 hours + to go into supermarkets and fight of the last loaf of bread, everyone buying WAY more than they can consume.... it is weird. expats are fleeing the country, kids in international schools are getting sent back to their home countries. wild stuff.

and the phones don't work for an hour or so after any decent sized after shock. internet is fine though. and mobile internet is fine. so i can skype my parents using my cell phone provider's mobile wifi but i can't call them cell to cell or landline to landline.

radiation levels increasing from the nuclear reactors blowing up.... which they don't seem to be able to stop nor foresee.... they keep saying, only the first two reactors blew, the others are okay. then another goes and but the remainder are "fine" then a fourth.... only 2 left.

how much longer before we all turn into ninja turtles remains to be seen.

good stuff bro....

they offered voluntary position for 22 days... i couldn't take it....

yeah it's a long way to go regardless of what else you have or don't have going on in life. i want to go back up but i want to make sure my wife, kid, family are safe here first. aftershocks/new quakes dropping daily so far aren't as bad but we've had some 6.4, 6.6 type of numbers. i wouldn't want something to happen to my family while i'm away.... selfish as that may be. i will be doing some training for some relief groups, but won't head back into a direct help role until this stuff dies down.

i can only imagine what katrina was like. saw footage, that's about it. but we know there is a world of difference between watching something from a video camera or cell phone vs actually being there.

Not selfish just protecting your family, nothing wrong with that... Wow ! I could only imagine what these people are going through, dffinitely puts things in prospective for the ones that are fortunate enough to not be affected by such a disaster.

I would feel fortunate to be able to help.

Stay safe & keep your family safe !
