My workout

Squats 365X2
Leg Press 8 plates/side+#4 band 1X8
Calfs on leg press same weights 1X25

Haven't had a good leg day in a long time :(
 
I mashed my ankle a couple months back, it was nasty, so I couldnt do squats or heavy deads for a long time. It still doesn't feel quite right when I do squats.

I think mostly though, I have a mental block on squats. Liek if I'm gonna do high reps I can rep out 245 or more for 20, but as soon as I get 3 plates on there I puss out.

I feel you on this. I am just now getting my confidence back from cutting.

Dimel Deads 230lb 1X12, 1X18
Rack Chins 1X15
Concentration curls 35lb 1X12

Just do it ya pussy! Does it hurt or just not feel right? Set the safety pins in the squat rack and don't be afraid to ditch the weight if it hurts....you're holding you progress back.

you can get the 3 plates for at least 5. You the pins like fender said.

listen to fender. you need to get past the 315 and start inching towards 405..

use the force.
 
That's good advice guys. I got 370 for 2 reps the other day. I wrote 365 but I remembered that the bar I was using actually weighs 50lb.

Still, I should be squatting more than that...
 
good DB work IM...100X9 is no joke

as far as the 315..i am working on getting mine past that too. i'm sure we both can get there..esp since your hitting 370x2 already..

For what you pull, yes you should be squatting more. Just do it. When's the last time you ran any AAS?
 
Yea i get a mental block on squats too...dont know why... theirs just so many ways to squat, plus my knees always ache so im afraid to really do damage!

but if you did 370 then your already past the 3 plates!

Yeah it's past 3 plates, but I mean after I see 3plates on the bar it becomes much harder than it should be.
