Squats for the first time in like 7 weeks or something.

315X4 -coulda had more but i had my shitty shoes on and i was in the rack that's on cement so I couldn't go barefoot bc I'd slip, I was rolling forward too much though
Weighted crunches 1X15 55lb
Seated Calf 1X25 with whatever the last douchebag left on there

your squat rack has a cement bottom? thats pretty cool, i think i would like that better than the rubber...ive been wearing the same gym shoes for 4 years now, the nike ace 83's... not even really gym shoes just low tops, i know what you mean about wearing shitty shoes when squatting.

No it sucks it like slick ass cement. I usually go barefoot on squats on the but I can't do that on the cement bc my feet will just slide apart as I try and push up, lol. I have a better pair of shoes for squats, an old pair of reebok basketball shoes with the soles pulled out but I left them outside and they were all wet from rain so I had to wear my runners. Even though the other pair is better I still go barefoot whenever I can.
 
Flatter surface, easier to keep weight on my heels. I feel more stable.
 
Went for a max on bench today. Somethign I haven't done in forever, since I never bench.

275X1 I was working up in 5lb incriments from like 245 sinc ei had no idea where I was or if my shoulder would hold up

Nice work bro, I hear you on the shoulder thing. I'm gonna have to take 1-2 weeks off from chest and shoulders b/c mine's fucked up again.

I've got some Adidas goodyears I squat in, nice flat sole. I go barefoot sometimes but I don't feel as stable when I unrack the weight and back up.
 
Deads 495X1 515X1 (PR)


The 515 went up easy as fuck. I was happy with myself and had somewhere to be so I left it at that.
 
good job...cant wait to break the 500 mark on deads... did you tear all the skin off your shins on the PR?

No. I only seem to have problems with that on multi rep sets. I did tear up my hand though.

I hope to have 600 within a few months. Yesterday I honestly felt like shit and the gym was so crowded that I could not get my head into it. I know I could have pulled more even last night, but nonetheless it was a PR so I have nothing ot bitch about :)

I'm about 215 at 5'11. Last 2 weeks have been horrible for diet for some reason, mainly work I guess. I've been in a rut. Lost a few lbs, I should be up at like 220.

I find it is always bitter sweet. happy to get the pr, pissed you didn't get more. i know that keeps me motivated. good luck bro.

Leg press 8plates/side 1X7 (had to do these quick, gym was closing, no rest)
