I would love to have both. I'll settle for moderatly big with abs. I'm about 200lbs at 5'8'' and 8-10 percent bf now. I'd like to get to 220 at the same bf percentage. I blew up to 225 at one point but looked like shit. Fuck bein big when you have no muscle definition and just look fat.

I don't do this for 'chicks' ...I do it to be the most awesome human I can be.

Ultimately if I was faced with a choice though, I'd take a large muscular build (with moderate body fat) over a 6 pack. If we're talking a large muscular build with a slobby gut, I'll take the abs.

For me, its always about being lean and ripped. shredded and vascular catches a lot more attention in my experience than being 30-40 lbs heavier. You would be bulkier for sure, but sloppy and not defined. Meatheads are a dime a dozen. The guy that looks like he has his shit together is the one that is ripped and carrying a respectable amount of muscle mass.

Right, but next to a guy like glubgawd you'd look like a little bitch. I say you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Sometimes I bulk, sometimes I cut. most years I do both. when I bulk I'm heavier and less defined. When I cut, all my bulking work shows.

If you aim to stay ripped all the time, you are missing out on the best part of your physique. The muscle.

good point,as for me at my height,6'5 283 it would take years of dedication to get a ripped and cut look, plus i would look aweful being that tall, and being ripped,Im not fat and sloppy, just a big guy with muscle,no not really defined except in a few places, but im proud of the way I look at my age,45

My dad said it best. He's still a big strong fella even at 60+. He said when I work out...work out with the mindset that "Hey, I want to get big and strong enough to defend my family and hurt anyone who tries to hurt them"

That got him a big ol' upperbody with 18" arms.

I'd have to say big with a flat stomach if you had to make a choice. Women hardly get to see your abs unless your at the beach, they love a tight t-shirt showing off your chest and arms. If your lucky they may a peek at the abs in the sack!!

I could lay on the couch and eat ice cream and get huge. I could start shooting meth and get a six pack.

All about having meat and cuts in one package, that is what separates the all those guys at the gym from the real MFers.

Unless you're ghey, I'd ask the girls what they like to see. If you're married, do whatever make you happy. Lol

I live at the beach and, considering my sole motivation in life is seeing as many hot chicks naked as possible, I'm gonna have to go with the 6 pack.

Bingo, couldn't have said it better myslef. It shows whos been putting the time in the kitchen.

Med-Big build with flat stomach (ripped would be awesome, but not everyone is Cashout, haha)

Here is the thing, anyone can be both BIG & RIPPED.

They are not mutually exclusive conditions. They coexist quite well.

I've been both for more than 20 years now...
